Where Did You Get Your Lawn (Christmas) Decorations?

We are finally ready to do more than icicle (sp?) lights this year and have to say that I didn't find anything I loved at target (they seemed to have a small selection) or Walmart. Don't really care for the blow up ones.

Where did you get your favorite lawn decorations and what are they?

Thanks in advance!

What can I do next?

I did well at Big Lots last year. They had a good selection of various lawn decorations and their prices were really good. We don't do much, but I have 2 penguins and a lighted Christmas tree. The penguins are not the blow up kind. But I remember they had all kinds of snowman, reindeer, santas, etc. Either blow up or regular lighted ones.

My fav. is my old childhood sled with the metal running boards and wooden seat. I have it on our front porch with a light on it. Everything else we have bought at craft fairs.

I like hobby lobby's selection. they seem to have lawn decorations that are a bit upscale looking than the tacky blow up ones (which i dont like) i do like the cut out wooden ones but the fancy decorations are found at hobby lobby. we also have several mom and pop shops here in town that have a huge selection of christmas decor that is afforadable but i know the upperclass folks get there decor from there.

Big Lots has a nice selection and they are usually cheaper then the other stores. When I lived up north I would plan on only using them for one season, because of ice, snow and wind. So I would use the cheaper lights. Now here in Florida I have found some that are solar powered and the biggest problem we have is the sun fading some of the decorations.
