Do any of you know where any good patches of bluebonnets are? I want to take a picture of my kids in the blue bonnets but haven't seen any patches big enough yet. Do you know of any good places?

What can I do next?

Last year we went to Ennis, TX. We went near the Bluebonnet park and there was tons of Bluebonnets. Check Ennis' City Websites for the best places for Bluebonnet pictures. There will be a Blue Bonnet festival on the 18-20th, so you might go to that also for some good photo ops too.

We drove around Ennis and found many places-fields of Bluebonnets that were easy to get to and safe for kids getting in and out of the car. It wasn't a heavily traveled road either.

Hope this helps, C.

Veterans park in Arlington. In the wildflower section behind the pond. It's not a HUGE patch, but it's not on the side of the highway. If your toddler makes a brake for it, it won't be into traffic.

We were on I-20 East and took the Spur 408 exit on Sunday. There were MILLIONS of them everywhere. Really beautiful! Lots of people were out taking pics. BE CAREFUL! It's quite dangerous to do it on the side of the road like that. Good luck!
