Brandi Carlile: Turpentine is just freaking awesome. It's not new (5-6 years old? I STILL drop everything as soon as it begins).
Adele: One and Only (When this song comes on, my boys automatically look over at my husband and smile, because they know we WILL be dancing to this song before it's over....and if he's not here, then I'm singing into my wooden spoon). :)
And our wedding song: Me First and the Gimme Gimme's version of "Danny's Song". Yeah, that's right---I didn't stutter. That was our wedding song, lol. (And instead of hear comes the bride, I marched to "The Imperial March" from Star Wars, lol).
If you looked at my music, you'd either admire me for being eclectic or fear me for being a complete schizophrenic. There's no rhyme or reason to my tastes and moods.
We do like Foster the People: Pumped up kicks is my son's favorite song (and ANYTHING by Cake, Brian Setzer Orchestra Band, or Bob Marley, lol). And Laura mentioned Slumdog Millionaire---that was a GREAT soundtrack for a GENIUS movie.
