I have a couple good recipes that i make. One is for ranch pork chops. You just brown the pork chops in a pan and add 1 can golden mushroom soup, 1 pkg of the dry hidden valley ranch dressing mix, and some milk and cook them flipping occasionally till done. They are very good if you like ranch flavor and then i usually just make either potatoes or rice and a veggie to go with them.
The other one i will have to get back to you on. It is good and easy and makes a lot but i dont remember all the directions, so i will post that one when i get back to look at the recipe.

Cheri,

www.allrecipes.com is the best recipe website. You can do searches by any means you can imagine and the recipes are rated. If it's lower than 4 out of 5 stars, don't try it. Also, you can read reviews in the order of their helpfulness. Reviews tell you how to change the recipe to improve or simplify it. When over a 1000 cooks have tried a recipe and say it's good, you know it's good.

Good luck,
S.

I have one for a pork Loin and when you cut it he will think that it is a por chop! My son loves this recipe!

3-4 lb Pork Loin
1/4 Cup Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Minced Garlic
2 Tbsp Kosher Salt
1 Tbsp Black Pepper
1 Tbsp Rosaemary
1 Tbsp Thyme
1 Tbsp Sage

Heat oven to 450 degrees, in a bowl combine the above ingredients and mix well to form a rub you may need a little more olive oil just add a little, rub all over pork loin and set a side. In a a skillet (if you have stainless steele that works great) coat bottom of pan w/ olive oil and turn up to medium to high heat, once oil is hot put pork loin in pan and your going to sear the loin on each side until golden brown (about 3-5 mins each side top and bottom) and then put in a roasting pan or baking dish put into oven at 450 degrees for about 45 mins check after 45 mins w/ meat thermometer temp should be 140 - 150 degrees in center of loin, if not then put back in until it does checking every 5-10 mins. If it reads at that temp then pull out set on carving board for 10 mins to let set and then cut and enjoy! ** I also will make a pork based gravy Knorr has a very good one if you want on the side for the meat***

My husband has a favorite which is browning the pork chops in a frying pan and seasoning them, then place them in a roaster pan or casserole dish and pour 1 can of Cream of Mushroom and 1 can of Cream of Chicken or Cream of Celery on them and putting them in the oven for about one hour at 350 degrees. Our kids absolutely love their Dad's pork chops. Good luck.

Hi Cheri:
I love pork so I have a few really good ways to cook it. First put a little olive oil in a fry pan let it get warm to hot, place pork in pan, season with salt, pepper and sage to your taste. You can vary this by adding a some chopped celery and onion and about a half cup water, turn down heat, cover and simmer. You can also add BBQ sauce straight from the bottle and a little water. Let the meat brown and turn over. My family likes mashed potatoes, a veggie, sometimes salad and applesauce with cinnamon and sugar, dip the meat in the applesauce (UMMM). You can easily make gravy from the meat juices or use the bbq sauce as gravy. If I don't have time to peel and mash potatoes I make rice and put butter, gravy, or the BBQ sauce over it.
Enjoy!

I just made this agaoin last week, and my in-laws LOVED it (along with our kids, my husband, and me).

1 can apple pie filling
1 box stuffing, prepared
pork chops (i use the boneless ones)

Brown the chops on both sides; pour the apple pie filling into a 9 x 13 pan, put the chops on top, then the stuffing on top of the chops. Cover it with foil, bake for 35-40 minutes at 375 degrees. uncover, and bake an additional 10 minutes.

My grama doesn't like cinnamon, so I've also made it with applesauce instead of pie filling, too. With the pie filling, it's like getting dessert, too! Someone else I know used just apples (no water added), and it was DRY. Good luck!

I was a PICKY eater as a child and loved my moms pork chops. It is so easy too.
Brown pork chops--add a little galic salt/salt free lemon pepper seasoning
2 cans Golden Mushroom soup
3/4 can water
1/2 cup Ketchup
Minced onion seasoning to your liking.
mix in skillet and let pork chops sit in mixture for 30-40 minutes (ocassionally turning)Keep on simmer lever--so it is just slightly bubbling. You might need to add more water if it gets too thick.
Serve over rice.
If you make it let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Hi Cheri,

our favorite way to cook pork chops is in the slow cooker...you can even use frozen ones if you forget to thaw them...we usually make 4-6 and put them in with a large can of mushrooms (drained) and a large can of cream of mushroom soup (approx. 20 oz. can)...cook 8 hours on low if they are frozen or if thawed they would only need to cook about 4 hours on low...thats it! they are sooo tender by the end of the day...enjoy!!!

When my oldest son who was about your sons age I had the same issue about not eating meat. I started out by only giving him 2-3 small pieces that he needed to eat and filled the rest of his plate with other foods such as vegtables etc. After a week or so when he was he eating those 2-3 bites I gradually increased the amount of meat he was getting and it seemed to resolve itself over time. Hope this works for you.

Pork chop stew. Brown 4 chops in oil. Remove chops and most of the oil, add veggies, carrots, potato, onion, celery, ect. Cook until slightly tender. Add two packets of pork gravy and four cups water. Continue to cook, I let it come to a boil then add pork chops and cover...turn the heat down. Veggies and meat should finish cooking together. This will make for more tender meat.
