P.K.
Honda only for me. CRV is a great car. Hondas go forever and ever and ever!
iMO Ford stands for: Fix Or Repair Daily.
Down the road I have to get a small, used SUV. I am starting my research now...
Do you like the 2013 Ford Escape (I will not buy it in 2013! I love the new style !!!
Toyota ? Honda? Other?
TY
TY !! Looks like Honda and Toyota are the winners !!

Fords don't have amazing reliability scores... but the Honda CRV and Toyota RAV-4 do. Consumer Reports tracks reliability; try your local library - you should be able to find the car issue where they recommend which ones will hold up longest. If I remember correctly, the RAV-4 and CRV were at the top this model year.
Honda CRV!
I have an 02 with 227k miles on it - it is still going strong. It has a few issues, but at 11 years old that is to be expected. We kept it to haul stuff to the dump and just bought a '13 CRV.
I love Ford.
Ford is very reliable.
We have Toyota's for safety, reliability, and resale.
Honda's are also great.
Ford's can be hit or miss. You need to research everything about the vehicle and make a decision.
My brother-in-law and his wife bought a Ford Edge about a year ago, and love it. We've had an Expedition (I know that's bigger than you're looking for) since 2002. It has over 200K miles on it and has never had a major mechanical problem, ever. My husband's Ford F150 has almost 300K miles, same story. Ford makes great SUVs and trucks. Extremely reliable.
I love love love love love love love love love love love love my Honda CRV!
Love it!
:)
I don't like the Ford's because they are boxy, I think they corrected it on the new one. Thing is when you have kids and are running all the time you need a nice rounded car so when you back out just a weeee bit too fast you don't catch another car with the corner....or maybe I am just a bad driver. :-/
I love my CRV! It is a 2012 and I love the technological improvements but structurally I see little difference between the 2012 and the 2007 I traded in on it.
I had a 2008 CRV, which I LOVED. Traded it in 2011 for an Odyssey when we were expecting our 3rd. That model had a removable shelf in the trunk so that you could really maximize storage space, or store items you wanted to keep out of sight under the shelf. That was a great feature. When the car was redesigned around 2012, they got rid of the shelf.
I have a 2006 RAV 4 that I bought new. It's almost at 100,000 miles and no major problems so far. I've done a few minor maintentance things for it, but nothing over $1,000.
I have a 2010 ford edge and I LOVE IT. really reliable. REALLY ROOMY. We are tall people and need every inch. my daughter just turned old enough to ride in the front seat. on Occasion my husband will let her ride shot gun for shorter trips and he fits his 6'4" self in the back seat with no issue.
