Ok so I realized some might actually not come here that often like us regulars do (they have lives ...how dare they while we avoid work!) so I am not saying these questions are bad to post over and over but J. wondering what questions you think are the ussual on here

I'll start

Could I be pregnant?
4 year old having attitude?
rise of autism?
when can I leave my kids alone?

I actually appreciate reading new thoughts so this isn't a bash on repetitive questions J. more what topics do you guys see that are always on our minds?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Jo I think the same thing? does their google not work?

Molly I agree I said I like seeing them over and over..J. more taking a poll

Dad..I know right I mean these questions about non serious issues like autism are taking away from my more important questions on skirts riding up=)

my Google isn't broken. I asked the repeat Autism question, cause I want to see what PARENTS thought personally. Can't delete that mistake. I didn't want to see what doctors and experts and teachers had to say. I did apologize for the repeat question.
My browser didn't allow M. to look up how many Austism questions previous, hence the repeat. I DID Google it, thanks. I didn't like what they had to say, I value people's opinion here. I guess I didn't know it bothered the regulars so much. WHOOPS my bad.

OK sorry, lol my bruised ego, loosed my tongue. I am doing puppy eyes right now. Rant over. BLEH sometimes these mental barfs get M. in more hot water than their worth.

I think that sometimes repeat questions are a good thing, since new members have arrived with different points of view, and more research is being done daily about different topics.

whats for supper? ><

DAD! WHAT? you dont like to know the MOST important answers to the MOST important question of the universe? COME ON, well at least you know, every which way to Sunday, how NOT to let you skirt ride up.

I think the most common question is about Disney. Maybe because I live 20 minutes away from WDW I feel as if I have to answer (I know I don’t). I don't mind so much when they are weeks apart but they seem to come in groups on the same day.

The typical ones listed on previous responses plus one I HATE....

Working from home?

Now, if everyone could get paid to stay home, play, and parent their children, wouldn't everyone be doing that? It is a prime question for the MLM Direct salespeople to recruit.

Also, questions poised to get info and solicit.

Hmmm, ok so I've asked a number of questions over the years. And the ONE question I asked with the LARGEST number of responses was:

Is Your UPS Guy Hot?

Naturally since if you searched "Hot UPS Guys" on this site.....

Psh, and they say MMP has lost focus.

;)

I don't mind the common ones, sometimes I feel like a broken record (as my mother would say), and I also feel like all the regulars are tired of hearing my whole damn story over and over, so I don't answer a lot of the "Should I get my tubes tied" , and so on ones anymore.

Potty training.
Nursing, starting or weaning
Sleep problems

Most I don't mind, as kids have unique quirks. But some like "could I be pregnant" or vaccination or autism debates? I've said what I wanted to for most of them. They can find my old answers.

I see a lot of ambiguous potty training questions. Specifics, people!

Also lots of 9 year old attitude questions.... very, very common. Your nine year old is not the first and won't be the last...

The "I am married to a jerk" questions... sigh. I wish these were more honest and balanced, because we likely married the jerk for a reason or are contributing to our problem with poor communication methods...

Aunt Mel Mel had it: the "I'm Leaving" post (I now J. call it "The Flounce"). That's great, thanks for telling us off, don't come again! Toodles!

Family nudity questions. Everyone has their own comfort levels about locker rooms, home nudity, showering together, etc.

Leaving kids in the car questions. sigh. Once again, everyone has a different comfort level with this.

And yeah, sometimes it would be pretty easy to get information with a simple search, although I'm interested sometimes more in opinions than I am with facts.

Sans the am I pregnant one I don't pay them much mind.

For some reason what I don't get is the questions where I read it and then google it and then as I am typing what I found I think, is their google broken?

"What can I give my kid for a snack at school?" and "What should I pack in their lunch?" Not to sound snarky or mean, but really? Why is it so hard to figure out what to give our school-aged children to eat when they are not at home with us?

When I see a question I'm not interested in reading or responding to, I don't click on it. I think it's hard to search questions on this site, so it doesn't surprise M. that people repeat questions. And sometimes what people are looking for is a more personal experience of what individuals know rather than some random article (or sift through copious articles) that may have generalizations or research in it. Again, if you're not interested, skip it.

I find the bikini/brazillian wax questions too repetiative.
J. do it..or don't :)
Yes- it hurts for 30 seconds when the hair is ripped out by the roots with wax. Yes-it is nice that you don't have to worry about that area for a couple of weeks. No- it is not permant. IF you don't like it- the hair will grow back :)

Yep:

Could I be pregnant?

And:

Should I vaccinate my child?
School lunch ideas
Should I have a third kid?
How do I lose weight?
Is it allergies?

I find these questions to be repetitive, and I tend to not answer them any more, since the poster could easily search old answers. I don't ask them either :-)

I hate questions about 'your baby can read' software. Do you really need people on a website to tell you that dvds cannot teach a 1 year old baby to read? I have seen this question on here many times.

introducing new boyfriend to child....that one irks M., because each situation is different & we have NO idea what the guy/creep is like! (sigh)

well, & then I had several more I was going to mention....but it seemed petty & hurtful to the moms who've asked the questions.

I will admit, I've been skipping over a lot of questions lately! But the IL questions always grab my attention....they're usually worth an eyeroll, laugh, or groan.

Fun question....thanks!

My all time favorite: "COULD I BE PREGNANT?"

Religion notwithstanding, there's basically been one way to get pregnant, throughout all of human history.

But somehow we (MYSELF INCLUDED) can find lots of variations on that question.

i don't care about repetitive stuff, but what irks M. is when i go to read a post i open and i find nothing there. the post has been deleted. or the poster has deleted the question and left only the answers. the audacity!!!!!!

babysitter charges? i don't even open those posts because i have not had a babysitter almost ever :)
bikini wax? nope, unless you wanna discuss razors :)
but i do love M. some MIL questions. those are right up my alley
