sunday is kind of a long way away to make cookies.... i would use tupper wear and if you stick a slice of bread in there it will keep the cookies soft :)
I've been searching this morning on the internet, but I cannot find an answer. Today, I am baking peanut butter blossoms (with the Hershey's kiss on top), chocolate chip cookies and peppermint bark. I was planning on putting them in those long Glad containers to take them on Sunday. Should I leave the containers on the kitchen counter or store them in the fridge? Thanks!

neither one of those lol. let them be totally completely cool and put them into the air tight containers and store them on a cool dry shelf (we live in illinois) my mom always put ours in the garage. way away from the kitchen where it gets hot and if you do the fridge the chocolate can get that weird white film on it. good luck
I actually heard this on Food Network the other day...people think they can bake the cookies and freeze them when actually you should make the dough and freeze it then at most make the cookies 2-3 days before and then store in air-tight container.
I would keep them cool, safe place in garage if no refrigerator space, but wouldn't freeze.
definately keep the bark seperate from the cookies. put a slice of white bread in with the cookies to keep them moist. the bark needs to stay dry so store it in an airtight container away from the cookies with no bread.

I looked at the other posts...my chef husband says the bread in with the cookies will draw the moisture OUT of the cookies.
