For the past week I have noticed that if I scrape the middle of my tongue with teeth on accident it hurts, just a little. Today I woke up with a white tongue and now I am starting to get bumps on the back of my tongue. WTH??
I would go see a doctor.
It could be strep or thrush. It could be you injured your tongue with something hot.
Checking with your doctor would be the best plan to see what it is.

White bumps on the tongue COULD be thrush.
If you have Listerine, rinse your mouth out with it and then brush. The listerine might help with any bacteria build up. But really? A doctor needs to seen!

Sounds like thrush to me. Family members can pass thrush to each other so you want to treated it thoroughly if that's what it is.
