I just throw stuff in my oversized handbag. It's amazing how little you really need, and quart-sized ziplocks are great.
Hi Mamas,
I am a mother of a 2 1/2 year old little girl who is potty trained and pregnant with my second coming in June. I am in need to a great diaper bag. I have purchased many during the last two years and have not really liked any of them. Are there any bags out there that you can't live without? I would love to hear what you have.
Thanks!

I LOVE my diaper bag from Sherpani. It is the Lena model which has been replaced by the Nuvie http://sherpani.com/product.aspx?bO3FscouH=2&GQd0Ejaq...
It is super roomy without being too bulky. It kinda grows based on how much stuff you have in it. I always feel I could stuff "just one more thing" in it if I need to. It's perfect if you are a mom who likes to carry lots of stuff. I carry a wallet, my phone, cloth diapers, a wet bag, an extra outfit, toys, books, snacks, the changing pad that comes with it, wipes, a pouch sling, a nursing cover, and probably more I can't think of. It has lots of pockets in convenient places - little ones for stuff like chapstick or phone, and two bottle pockets that are stretchy (for even a wide sippy like with handles). The strap unsnaps so you can loop it through a stroller or cart handle. Best of all, it's not heavy! I like those Skip Hop bags, but they weigh a lot.
This diaper bag is a bit pricey (though way cheaper than those "fashion" bags) but totally worth it! I have tried several and am so glad I found this one!
I love, love, love my Columbia Backpack diaper bag- check it out online. It's awesome.
I love my Champion backpack. It is divided into 4 compartments and has two external bottle pockets, organizer, and even a media pocket for your iPod! My kids are now 4 and 6, and I still use it for the zoo, theme parks, and fairs/festivals. And since it's not a diaper bag or girly, my husband will carry it! I got it from Kohl's.
I had the Vera Bradley at first and HATED it! I switched to the Eddie Bauer weekender and like that it transitioned from a "baby bag" to a "toddler bag" really well.
I like a big handbag too...or skip hop and fleurville bags, petunia picklebottom is good too and jujube but they're a bit expensive. I've found some really cute ones barely used at consignment stores!
I bought a backpack on wheels, and I LOOOOOVE it. I can carry it around, fit tons of stuff in it, and when I'm tired or have my hands full, I put it down, pull up the handle, and roll it wherever I need to go. When this one goes, I am definitely replacing it with another.
I always preferred to use a backpack.
