I am pregnant with my second baby and I am having a couple of baby showers within the next month or so (one of which is this weekend). Does anyone have some good ideas for a gift to give the ladies hosting the showers? I really wanted to steer clear of the Bath and Body works lotion/soap idea since it seems like "the norm". Any thoughts would be much appreciated!
How about a night of babysitting if she has kids which is easy on your budget. OR a gift certificate for her favorite restraunt.

I am a huge fan of gift cards. Starbucks, the movie theater, especially Half Price Books! Panera Bread is a wonderful place to get a gift card from- the restaurant is very nice like Starbucks but has a huge selection and she can sit down to a nice hot meal or grab some bagels or desert to go- and they have coffee too! love love love the place...to bad my family can't have wheat products, it makes Panera totally taboo.
Never go wrong w/gift certificates: Spa, restaurant, movie etc. A wine/cheese basket, cookie tin, stationary gift set. Just depends on what the hostess likes. Make it personal.
