Hi K., for me a 2 year gap would be the earliest. I would like to be delivering another baby around the time my son turns 3 years.
What do you ladies feel that a good age gap is??? What do you think is too soon??
I thank everyone for their thoughts. I dont know what I am going to do, nor are we really even planning anything but I just needed some advice from those who knew more than I did!! ;) Thanks ladies

Well my girls are eighteen months and one week apart and I love it. They are so great together and my oldest has never resented her sister in any way. All the studies say either have another baby before your first is two, so he won't know life without a sibling, or wait until he's six, so he can understand about not being an only child. I know a woman who has fourteen children and her only advice for me was to have the children in twos. So that no child is without a playmate. I personally believe that when you are ready for another, then have another. Kids are wonderful blessings from God and the more the merrier. Good luck!
my older two are 12 months apart then there is 4 year between #2 & #3 for me and then 2 years between #3 & #4 for me. I have to say the hardest adjustment for both us and the kids was when we went from #2 to #3. I am not sure if it was the 4 year age difference or because we were now outnumbered. But having my 2nd daughter be the "baby" for 4 years before having another was hard on her. I was happy with the 12 month and 24 month age gaps.
My 1st 2 daughters are 3 years apart. That age difference was WONDERFUL. My oldest was at the perfect age to understand about the new baby and she helped out SO much! My 2nd 2 daughters are 14mo apart. That is hard. Especially the pregnancy and the first few months. But now(they are 16mo and 2.5) it's a lot of fun and they are really close. They still have their moments though lol. We planned to have our next in 2008, which would make #3 and #4 3 years apart again but bc of financial reasons we have to wait until 2010 when they will be 5 years apart. Then we will probably be having #5 shortly thereafter. Like pp said, it is nice to have them in pairs so to say. We are really hoping for twin boys in 2010 but you know how wishing goes LOL
