I have a 2.5 year old son and was wondering what i should let him have to drink. In the morning he has about 2 sippy cups full of Orange juice,1 of milk, then all day he will have water or iced tea. Please let me know what you let your kids drink....

What can I do next?

My kids are 2.5 and 6 years old. Since they started drinking regular beverages it has always been milk for 2-3 meals and only 1 meal with juice. The rest of the day if they are thirsty it is water. They both keep water cups in the kitchen and help themselves to water whenever they are thirsty. Sometimes they just have milk for all 3 meals and water in-between meals. Occasionally hot chocolate for a treat or fruit smoothies for a snack.

My 2.5 year old drinks a cup of orange juice with breakfast and water the rest of the day. She doesn't like milk, occasionally she'll ask for a cup of my rice milk but that's rare. She's never had any tea, sodas, etc. and I plan to keep it that way as long as possible.

I give her 100% juice, like apple juice a lot, sometimes she will drink my diet mountain dew, she has a bottle of milk twice a day - really whatever she wants, but we don't drink a lot of soda's
I am probably in the minority, seeing as everyone else lets their kids only drink water!

Our children drink water. Very, very rarely we will have juice, but usually only when we have company and I actually remembered to buy it. We have milk, but most of my children don't drink it. We just do water. On very rare, special occasions, we'll have lemonade. Even rarer, we might let them have a soda of some sort. But, most, good, clean, pure water (We live in the mountains and have well water. It's so crisp and clean!)

Our daughter drinks water throughout the day, and maybe about 2" or juice or milk with dinner sometimes but not every night. We try to stick with only water, way healthier. Our Ped. told us to never feed little kids juice because their is soooo much sugar in it.
