We're gonna eat popcorn and watch Dirty Deleting Part III, or Part X or whatever number it goes up to, on Mamapedia. LOL I am only joking. :o)
We're going to some parks and possibly on a train ride. :)
Just to lighten the mood a bit. What are you planning to do with the kids and your SO this weekend? We are working a part time repo business together, so we will be out looking for cars tonight. I'll work Saturday morning for a few hours. My 5 yr old has a teeball game in the morning, but dad will take him. Then we are going to a private screening of Cars 2 put on by my job in the afternoon. I'm hoping hoping hoping to have a date night Saturday night. Church Sunday morning and visit a sick friend in the hospital Sunday afternoon. Hoping to sneak a nap or 2 and some intimate time in there somewhere. What about yall? Any big plans?
Rachel - he's I'm glad he's finally going to take you fishing. It's your turn! Do you clean the fish and cook 'em? That's where I draw the line. I can bait a hook but cleaning it? Uh Uh, no way.
Scarlett - it's actually not that exciting. We talk people out of thier keys. We call them, they agree to meet us and turn the car over. We give them a chance to get thier stuff out of the car. If all that doesn't work, then we go "car spotting". We drive around looking for the car and when we find it, we flatten a tire so they can't go anywhere and then call in the tow truck. THAT"S when the excitement happens. But we're usually long gone by then. I don't want to be in the line of fire.

[puts claws away] ;)
The girls are going to their dad's tonight. Tmrw, Rob and I both have tattoo appointments, then we'll probably take the baby out on the boat, OR find a sitter and the 2 of us might go fishing.
Other than that? I'm working, doing laundry, and cleaning as always ;)
Tonite sucks--hubby is going out with a bunch of his colleagues for a farewell party for his friend (ummm...the guy is just moving to a different hospital, not Singapore!) After the kids go to bed, I will probably end up reading books on my iPad and checking Mamapedia and Facebook a trillion times...and make a shopping list.
Family grocery shopping trip tomorrow--hubby complains that I don't buy enough red meat, so he will be coming which means our bill will be right about $200.
Cars 2 at a dinner/movie venue
Sunday we have a pretty set routine--9:30 church, lunch at a burger/hot dog place, home for family nap time, hubby goes to the gym, kids & I play and then make/eat dinner, hubby home, kids bathe & go to sleep, hubby and I watch Bravo TV for the rest of the nite (unless there is something really good on HBO).
That is my big & exciting weekend! OMGoodness how life changes with kids ;-)
We don't have the kids this weekend, they are at the ex's house! WHOO HOO!!!!!!! So we will be enjoying the quiet and whatever it brings!
Having a family party! SIL birthday is sunday my DD birthday is Wed (turning 7) and MIL birthday is Friday the 15th. We are a fun family! We're grilling, swimming in our little above ground pool, playing croquet, water ballon toss etc. And I bought some rum and pinapple juice. We'll stay up late and catch fireflies and maybe have a camp fire if it cools off by evening. And maybe light off some leftover fireworks!!!!
Can I come with you to look for cars?! That sounds FUN!! My husband watches a show, something like Repo Men? Good stuff!!
We are going to a pool party on Saturday. Nothing else too exciting!
We have had a super busy week with softball tournaments....so glad its over. We will grocery shop in the morning and probably go to the farmers market. Tomorrow night we are going to take the kids to the drive-in to see Cars 2 and Super 8. Sunday we will probably go see the in-laws. :)
Packing, because we are moving at the end of the summer and are trying to be organized about it! Entertaining daughter's new boyfriend. Picking up son from church youth group trip on Sunday. Clothes and shoe shopping for nephew's upcoming wedding next weekend. Grocery shopping, chores, gardening. Obviously, nothing very exciting. But I do enjoy reading about others' plans and living vicariously through them, so thanks for the question :)
Enjoy YOUR weekend!
Dinner tonight at our house with my parents. Running errands with the kids tomorrow (love Click-N-Pull from Sams!!), dropping off a dress to be fixed and probably taking the kids to the park while we're out. Watching a movie with my 4 year old while LO naps. Nothing tomorrow evening. Sunday I'm volunteering in the nursery at church then my parents may come over to eat and we'll play in or outside (depending on the weather). House is 'mostly' cleaned (thanks to hubby) and may do 1-2 loads of laundry.
Going out of town tomorrow to check out a ski/fishing boat for sale, hope it goes well because my husband reaaallllly wants this boat! When we get back into town I will take the kids shopping for last minute stuff for our vacation next week to South Padre.
Babysitting a neighbor's son, bathing my miniature schnauzer, attempting a new recipe on Sunday, and redecorating our son's room. Like you, I'm hoping for a nap or two and some fun (wink) time with mr. man.
Well tomorrow is my birthday, and my sisters who live with my husband and I are finally moving out, so I will be spending a quiet, relaxing weekend with my hubby and the kids.
Girls night out tonight :)
Tomorrow is swim class and shopping for football cleats for my 7 y/o.
Saturday evening hubby is taking my oldest son to a football game.
Sunday is church and I'll be breaking out the slip n slide in the afternoon!
Oh, and at some point I need to clean house!!
Watching my daughter perform in a show tonight, then out to dinner. Seeing Miss Saigon in Philly tomorrow. Yeah! Going out to dinner on Sunday with my in-laws.
We are painting one of our bathrooms this weekend. We will probably go to the the local farmers' market Saturday morning and maybe go hiking Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. Oh, and I need to try to get a picture of the girls...one where they are both looking at the camera and smiling or at least both in the frame. I'm probably also going to mow. Nothing too exciting.
The hubs has his Reserve weekend today through Sunday so he won't be around much. Tonight after work we're taking the kids to Target for sleeping bags & sneakers. Tomorrow I'm doing a ton of laundry & packing for the kids in the morning, then taking Hailey to get her hair braided in the afternoon. Sunday morning I'm dropping them off at camp for a week, woooooo-----hooooooo!!!!!!
Cars 2 is super cute, we just took my daughter last weekend and my husband and I loved it! ;) Hopefully we are going to visit a hot air balloon festival! We went last year and it was so neat! Other than that, two birthday parties, yard work, laundry,...the usual!
2nite is mega laundry night: we're down to 1 bath towel & a few hand towels! Which means we've already gone thru the beach towels & the dog towels (disclaimer: the dogs had baths!)
Moving on...a 1st BD party 2moro.....& I'm hoping to cash in some gold/silver. It's amazing how many broken necklaces have accumulated in my jewelry box!
Sunday: hopefully connecting with my Mom/Sis....they're attending my nephew's Naval graduation ceremony today. He's moving on to SEALS!! Can't wait to see the photos of him in his whites! Yep, I'm a proud Aunt...
& I know at some point, we'll be car....oh, excuse me, truck shopping for my son. I think we hold the record for used car....aargh- truck....shopping in mid MO! Is it a blessing or a curse to have a highly-opinionated child? I cannot believe some of his choices! His current fav is a 1963 utiity truck, complete with a crane on the back of it! He said it's a perfect truck for 4wheeling & camping....the crane hook will hold his lantern & pull him out of the mud. What a freak...but I guess it's better than the 87 Range Rover which required a new head gasket.....or the 73 Ford F100 which popped in/out of gear on its own! Yep, he's a motorhead!
Have a good one!
Staying at my mom's, taking the boys swimming, making a steak dinner, sitting in the sunshine, playing soccer with the boys, learning how to drive the big blue tractor!
Saturday he's working overtime so it's more "stuck with mom" time around here.
Possibly seeing "Cars 2" for the fifth time and some playground time.
Sunday is up for grabs. Probably a whole lot of nothin'--my favorite kind of day!
Sounds like you have a great weekend planned!! Enjoy it :). Tomorrow we are leaving bright and early for the 4 hours trip to see my Grandfather and meet him for lunch. Then we are taking him to Antietam Battle Field (the deadliest battle field in the history of the Civil War, anniversary is Sept 17, 1862). My 6 year old went with my dad and brother in early June and is so excited to take the rest of us! Then we are staying overnight and taking advantage of a pool in the hotel. Sunday we'll get up and meet Grandpa for some coffee and then maybe check out his town and head home! So excited :). My grandfather is getting up there in age and not doing so well health wise. I'm so blessed that my kids have an amazing relationship with him and I am so dreading the day we have to stop going to see him. So I cherish all of our mini visits to him.
