What are ya'll doing this weekend, ladies? As for me, I'm hoping to get the over-growth of weeds and shrubs and tree branches in my yard cleared out! Then, we'll have a nice cookout at my Dad's to celebrate the strong men in our family. :)
Happy Friday and Happy Father's Day to your strong man!
Same old, same old... Go to bed with one toddler that will spend the night and be picked up in the morning. I have one family out of town and another with grandma. So I'll not have a busy weekend. I could have only 2 children all weekend long once the toddler goes home.

We are leaving for Bermuda tomorrow. YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Unfortunately we have to be to DFW at 4:30 am with a 2 year old to catch our 6:30 am flight, but it will be well worth it to be sitting on a beach with a cool drink in my hand.

Our new deck is being finished as we speak, so we'll have to put together the new patio furniture that is currently taking up residence in my home office. Then we have some other things around the house to do (including the yard out front) and then a party at a friends house. Sunday is time for my hubby, and a BBQ with my family, since his lives so far away (like 1500 miles far)

Saturday we are schlepping a gazillion pounds of retaining-wall bricks to make a surround for the kids swingset. Sunday we will hopefully go shopping for trees to plant in our dirt backyard. Suburban bliss!
p.s. I guess we all know what Rachel D. is doing this weekend!:)
p.p.s. N.: don't forget to cover up well to prevent poison ivy if you're allergic!!

Saturday, bright and early, we leave for a swim meet for the kids. On the way home we get to stop at the feed store for chicken supplies and then an afternoon of bathing chickens in preparation for the fair. Not to mention, some laundry, vacuuming and dusting. MAybe some barbecue for dinner. Sunday will definitely be a day of relaxing and celebrating Father's Day.

My son has a baseball game tonight & another tomorrow afternoon. My husband is going solo to a wedding (weird, right? but whatever...) tomorrow evening & I'm dropping both kids off at a friends house for the night & then going over to one of my very best girlfriend's house to make her dinner since we haven't gotten to hang out in months due to her taking care of her elderly mother. Sunday is Father's Day so I'm going to get up early & bake a cake & make homemade pasta so it has time to dry, then pick the kids up & take Daddy to see X-Men, then home for dinner!

T-ball and housework Saturday. Church and Father's Day BBQ on Sunday for FIL.
We're hoping we get to see daddy, since he's still working out of town. That would require a 4 hour drive and missing the bbq. Totally worth it to see dad on Father's Day.

Tonight hanging with friends for a short time after picking up the kiddos (her hubby watches my kids on Fridays and she's usually working but is off today so we'll catch up). Later my parents are stopping by to drop off some stuff (they are moving and found a bunch of stuff for us). Maybe watch part of a kid's movie with the babes!
Tomorrow going to my parents new house to help unload a bunch of boxes and have lunch. Parents friend is coming down from Chicago so we'll spend the afternoon with him and my parents at their house.
Sunday is church then we'll miss Father's Day lunch with in laws as it's during my son's naptime (and hubby will be working anyways) and may just spend the day at home or go swimming at my parents house if it's nice!
Monday we're celebrating dinner for my father and hubby at a nice Italian restaurant (sans kiddos!) and hubby and I will get a few hours beforehand to run errands, hang out alone :)

We have all 3 kids this weekend. Friday night family movie night and we have salad and pizza and all watch a "kid movie". Today I'm cleaing the house to get ready to have everyone over tomorrow for my moms 65th bday. We will have lunch and all play a crazy game of dominoes. Then on Sunday for Father's Day, we are all going to see Kung Fu Panda 2 in 3D and then coming home and having mexican food (hubby's request) and swimming later. And that's it! Full weekend! :o)

Holy crapola, my hubby and I have worked the last 2 evenings to clear out the overgrown shrubs and weeds. We are both SO sore, but it's a good workout! Since it takes us both 5 minutes to get up the stairs temporarily, our weekend will include grilling out, dinner and a movie (maybe a double date), light housework, and relaxation. Lots of sitting. And probably lots of stretching. :)
