I just wanted to see what others are doing for their moms. I was thinking about a massage gift cert or a nice lunch with just the 2 of us. I need some new and creative ideas. Thanks moms- and an early happy mothers day to you all!
We have a Jim Brickman DVD/CD and a blubonnet pottery soap dispenser that we are giving my Mom for Mother's Day.
My Mother-In-Law we are still working on (so far a book, under the counter can opener).
I'm doing a portrait calender that i bought thru my son's preschool and a gift card for both mothers. MIL will get flowers since she lives far away. Mom will get lunch since she's local. As for creative, my mom loves when the grandkids make her a small craft. it can be as simple as wooden heart that they paint. Joann's has cheap crafts that touch hearts.
Sending mine a subscription to Redbook. She is a plane ticket away and last time I was there she enjoyed my magazines.

My mother passed away a few years ago but 2 days before mothers day is her birthday and also the day I will be having my baby girl by csection! So I know somewhere up there she will still get to see her present....I feel like its more my mothers day present from her and God! It will be a great day! Happy Mothers Day!

I made my mom and MIL a photo book each from www.shutterfly.com. Both sets of grandparents live out of state and only see their two granddaughters occasionally so I thought a bound and printed scrapbook would be something they could enjoy over and over.
My mom loves Scarborough Fair, so we're taking her there for the day.

As an Older Mom, I love all the above ideas!! Also,I would appreciate someone to come trim the shrubs around the house, repair the heater in the spa or something as easy as cleaning/washing my car inside and out.
This year I will spend Mothers Day in Alaska with my daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter!! We three mothers plan to have a grand time together. The only way it could be any better would be if my 2 sons could go. Happy Mothers Day and God's blessings to all of you.

My kids are making their grandmothers their handprints in plaster. My sister did this with my neices and oldest saw them on grandma's wall and asked grandma where is her handprint. My mom told her she didn't have one of her hand so we decided to do that. Also I found some pictures of myself when I was a baby and they are turning yellow so I thought I would get them fixed for her. She has lost a lot of our pictures because of moving a lot and my siblings taking all her pictures so I thought she would enjoy that.
