What Am I Doing Wrong...5 m.o. Sleeping

I have no problem getting up once and even twice still to nurse her during the night. The problem is sometimes she can't seem to sleep more than 15 or 30 minutes before she rolls over and loses her pacifier and starts crying. So I have to keep going back in there and help her fall asleep and then it starts again. A month ago she would either sleep through the night or just wake up once, but would sleep solidly in between waking up to nurse. So what am I doing wrong or what should I be doing?

What can I do next?

You're not doing anything wrong. She's going through something and this age is notorious for sleep regressions/issues. She may very well be teething or going through a growth spurt. At this age, I found co-sleeping to be a big help. You may want to try hylands as suggested. If it's bad enough though, only Tylenol or Motrin really do the job at night. If it's a growth spurt though, she needs to nurse and you might try cosleeping if you're open to it.

She may be going through a growth spurt - is she nursing more or just waking up? Also, it's hard for them to keep a paci in their mouths at night. don't know if it's possible for her to go to sleep without it, but that might help. Good luck :)

She may be starting to teeth and it HURTS. Even if you can't feel the bumps yet, the teeth could be cutting through the gums. The paci probably acts like a teething ring helps it feel better. Try some Hyland's teething tablets before bedtime and see if that helps.

If the paci helps her go back to sleep, you could try to teach her to put in back in herself. Just give it to her in her hand during the day so she'll figure out how to put it in. When she goes to bed, put 6 pacifiers in the bed. Then when she wakes up she can find one. I know I'm not the only one who did this! Mommy needs sleep!
