Hi everyone! I am new to the site :) I am just wondering what there is in west sacramento for me to do with my kids. I have a 2 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. I dont have a car or money lol And it seems like all we ever do is stay home. I would love to be able to take them somewhere where they can play and have fun. They are in head start right now so I am looking for weekend fun :D
Thank you all for your responces! We went to fairytale town and the zoo this weekend. Niyah loved the monkies! At fairytale town both loved the slides....didnt want to do anything else and got mad when i told them it was time to move to a new area lol. JJ slept through the zoo part.
I just wanted to add a little side note .. There is sing a-long on Friday mornings at 11 at McKinley library that are free that I go to .. What part of west sacramento do you live in? Maybe we could go together some time?

My daughter is alot older than your children but I would suggest checking in with Parks and Recreation because they offer alot of different programs.They are located on West Capitol and they have a website if you do a search. Welcome to the Sacramento area!!! We moved out here about 3 yrs ago and I love it!! Well, there's the Sacramento Zoo, Funderland, Old Sacramento (California State Railroad Museum, Discovery Museum), Fairytale Town, and you can also check out the other cities surrounding Sacramento like Folsom, Elk Grove, and Roseville.
This saturday all museums are free in sacramento. This also includes the sacramento Zoo and fairytaleland. I also believe that there might be buses that you can take there.
