B..
It weirds me out, man. I will not get used to it, and then have it go back to normal. I'm just going to pout about it being different and annoying. (And HOPE they fix the darn thing.)
Anyone else sick of the opening tabs thing?
Grandma, it is a nightmare if you log on with your phone. My phone limits to four open windows so I have to go in close them, of course you can't tell home many are open.......grrrr!
Oh guys if you are on the question page you can refresh using the lower question and answer button without it opening another tab. Only the one in the header does it, problem is in a question all ya got is the header. :(
B, I am all about work arounds but I just know as soon as I get used to compensating they will fix the damn thing! Okay so maybe I should take one for the team, work around it so it gets fixed.....hum

It's just. Freaking. Me. Out.
That is all.
;(
this is making it hard for M. to hide form my work i'm playing=(
It's driving me nuts too.
Too funny. I haven't been on in a few days and clicked on Q&A twice, thinking I had done something wrong, and your question was the first one I clicked on in the new window that was opened. It is very annoying. (the new window opening, not your question!)
I have hardly been online and when I am it is making me nutty.
THEY NEED TO FIX IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't like it at all! Was hoping after being off for a few days it would be fixed, guess not.
Hitting the back or the backspace key works but doesn't refresh the questions. You then have to refresh the browser. Its so annoying.
I'm sure it's #64 on the list of things the software/site developer is working on.
Patience, people!
In some systems it's not so easy to roll back updates/changes/fixes.
Inter-dependencies can make these things a nightmare to deal with.
Find a work around.
Just bookmark the Questions and Answers page (not sure how that works on a phone) and go straight to it without going in through the home page.
YES! I thought it was just me, until I realized it was only this site... grrrr... My son uses this computer and I all but accused him of changing my browser settings ;-)
FWIW, you can keep it to two tabs (the first page and he first tab to open) by clicking "back" to go to the question list instead of clicking the questions link.
inconvenient, but no biggie. It sounds like they are trying to do a good thing, and as a non-computer programmer - I can guess that it probably takes longer to do than any of us think.
I think that everytime I log on now. grrrrrr.....
Aren't they based in California? They're hours behind us, right? So maybe sometime today...
Poor Marc - he promised and now we're squawking! LOL!
Smiles!
