I am looking for some recommendations for a wedding website. We are planning a September 2012 wedding and I would like to find a website that is user friendly for both myself and our guests.

I'd love to hear from anyone who has had personel experience using one either as a bride/groom or guest.

Thank you so much!

So What Happened?

Let me be clear here...the website I am looking for is to share our wedding details with our guest and obtain RSVPs. If you have feedback that would HELP, thanks. Otherwise, I am well aware why I am marrying the man of my dreams. Our MARRIAGE is our priority!

I had a friend who ran screaming from "the knot". Apparently there is nothing but Bridezillas on that site. Yikes!!!

I managed to get married this summer without a website but this isn't bragging, until that friend told me I didn't know there were wedding sites. After that I was glad I didn't know.

No offense to those who liked the knot, it was awful. The women on there are awful, snarky, and stuck up. Talk about bridezillas! And then there's the women who stay on the site and have been married for 50 years... WHY?! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who thinks they have a good idea of what they want to do, your dream wedding will be torn to pieces.

Sandy:

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. Please remember this is about the marriage NOT the wedding...

I never used any website for my wedding. I had a girlfriend who used "The Knot" and thought they could or used it to start the show Bridezillas.

I don't get the need to have a website for your wedding....it is YOUR wedding not someone else's.

Why don't you create a FB link that way you can control who to send it to and who can access it...Let's face it more connections are on FB then anywhere else :)
