Weaning and Frequent Bathroom Trips?

Hi there,
This might seem pretty weird, but I am in the process of weaning my breastfed 14 month old son, and find I'm having to pee every hour or so. My OB/Gyn told me it's probably "hormone related" (no UTI or anything like that) but anyone else have a similar experience?
Thanks! D.

What can I do next?

Now that you say that, the same thing happened to me when my son weaned. I just took it in stride. I don't think it lasted very long. I do remember reading that when you go through the weaning process your entire "hormone household" re-adjusts itself. I'm sure your OB is right.

I am currently going through the weaning process with my 12 month old. I too am going to the restroom a lot. Also, my face is breaking out like a 15 year old! I guess you can look forward to that too:) Best wishes, jd

D.,
Your Bladder may have slipped and it may need raised. It is a very easy surgery.Mine started out with going about every hour then suddenly every time I laughed or coughed I lost small amounts of urine. The Doctor can check your bladder easily.
