I have a basic and simple question. How do you wash your comforters.. more specifically a King size comforter. I used to have Queen size comferters earlier and wash them in a full size washer and dryer at my apartment only. Then I got one King size comforter set from JC Penney and washed it in full size washer but I am not satisfied with the results. Can anybody tell me if "Coin Laundry" has even bigger washer dryers and where can I find one in Redmond WA 98052.

I do not know about your town but we have a laundrymat that has washers that will hold 3 normal sized loads. Yes it costs more per load but they would easily clean your king sized bedding.
Call around and check it out.
In my town the 50lb washer is $4.50. Use minimal soap since the comforter is bulky and will not agitate a lot.
Is for drying it, I prefer to line dry them for most of the day. Since you are in WA I don't know if that is even an option for you this time of year.
If the comforter has fiber fill in it you may need to dry it on medium heat and bite the bullet as far as time goes. It will dry better, all the way through, but take a lot longer.
I have seen people take blankets and other stuff out of the industrial dryers that have melty parts on them and the insides are chunky due to stuff melting.
So I always dry my blankets and fiber fill stuff on perma-press.
When drying, throw in either a pair of canvas tennis shoes or a couple of tennis balls. These will help with the agitation and th weight will help it move around.
Those 5 load washers work well with king sized down and other materials. The big dryers are an important help in making the finished product look as good as new.
You can go online to find a place that has them or drive around and find a laundromat that looks and feels clean.
A friend of mine and I drive to one that opens at 6am on Sunday. No one else is there for an hour and the place is spotless.
