Wanting to Find a New Dermatologist in Columbus Area

I sent this out on Friday but, wanted to make sure I didn't miss anyone that may still want to comment or that missed reading this with a busy weekend so here it goes again....Has anyone been to a really good dermatologist in the Columbus area? Preferably, I would like a female this time around. Someone that is quick but, thorough and typically on time for appointments. I understand that things can happen but, my last dermatologist I was waiting an hour plus each visit. (Not a one time thing!) Any reccomendations would be appreciated.

What can I do next?

You might try Central Ohio Skin & Cancer on Cooper Road near Cleveland Avenue & Schrock Road. I've been a patient of Dr. Jess DeMaria's for a good number of years, and I've been really happy with the practice. Their number is (614) 898-SKIN.

Good luck!

The dermatologist I see is WONDERFUL WONDERFUL!!
Her name is Gwen Londeree. Her practice is Mid Ohio Dermatology, the phone is ###-###-####. She is right off of Henderson Road. I have been a patient of hers for about 2 1/2 years and I have NEVER waited longer than 10 minutes to see her. She is very thorough and personable. I was trying to get pregnant when I first saw her but was also trying to combat some acne issues. She used products that were effective for me yet not harmful should I get pregnant.
She always gives me samples to try the product (even though I tell her I have great Rx benefits). She is truly the best kept secret in dermatology. My first dermatologist was a female in Westerville and she was HORRIBLE.
As my body has changed (yes, we were sucessful and now have 10 month old twins) she has been able to correctly diagnose me with the right treatment plan for the problem each time I have seen her. (I just love how my body likes to keep changing...bringing new issues to solve) I really like that when you see her shoud she have to prescribe something she marks the refills good for one year. Her follow up appointments are usually 3 to 6 months (depending on your personal treatment plan) which tells me...A) have to give the product time to work (nothing is an overnight cure) and B) my time is just as valuable.
As you can tell I really like Dr. Londeree and highly recommend her. The office staff is also very professional and nice. Nice perk. When I have had to call and ask questions the phone service is streamlined and I always talk to the person I need and my question is always answered with that one call.
I hope I have been of some help to you and should you choose Dr. Londeree I hope you have the same great results as I have.
She really is Super.

M.,

I, too wanted a new dermatologist. My dr. referred me to a woman named Gwen Londeree - she's off Henderson Rd - I can't remember what cross-street she's on (may be it was Reed or Dierker). At any rate, I took my two kids to her and she was FABULOUS. Very minimal wait, although, you probably know that getting in to a dermatologist takes about 6 - 8 weeks. We really liked her. If you can't find her number, send me a message. I'd recommend her to anyone.

Hope that offers you something.

Okay, I guess I didn't read down far enough to other peoples responses...but I see someone else referred Dr. Londeree and provided even more info than I could. She's great!
