I am confused... are you prego now??
I mean at two weeks you will feel nothing for he most part. I didn't know I was prego until nearly 4 weeks into both of mine.
And even then I didn't "feel" anything.... that comes much much later.
If you are nervous about feeling something early on, get ready, because it is a wild ride.

Chances are you won't feel anything at 2 weeks! Every woman and EVERY pregnancy is different, so there's no way to tell. I didn't know at all or even suspect at two weeks with either of my pregnancies.

You worded your question kind of strangely...I'm not sure what you're asking.
But one thing I do know is that everyone feels differently with every pregnancy. At two weeks pregnant, you barely have time to even know that you MIGHT be pregnant.
I don't know how you can prepare for how to feel at two weeks, you better be prepared to handle it for 40.

Best wishes.

probably nothing. I started feeling "off", more tired, and morning sickness when I was about 4 weeks... took a home test and found out I was prego, went to the doc. and found out how far along. At 2 weeks, your body probably doesn't even register that there is a baby in there!

Prepared for what? For being pregnant? For the nausea and exhaustion that will inevitably follow? If you are trying, all you need to do now to be prepared is to be eating healthy, not be smoking or drinking, and be on a prenatal vitamin with extra folic acid.

At 2 weeks is when I was supposed to get my period and didn't - and we had been trying, so I don't know if it was just on my radar more, but I know I felt more "full" in my abdomen. Not bloated per se, and not uncomfortable, but I certainly had a sense that something was there. I started with the morning sickness 2 weeks after that (at 4 weeks), got a positive on the home pregnancy test, and that was it. I would agree, everyone is different. If you think you might be pregnant, take a test at home - if you are, it will be positive at the time that you should get your period and don't. But I also say, how you feel at 2 weeks is not nearly as important as how you will feel at 40. Buckle up Buttercup! :)

E.,
As a childbirth educator, I want to give you a short note. The other poster who told you that everyone is different is the most accurate answer so far.
Please do not let anyone tell you how the rest of your pregnancy, birth and post partum will go. They are not in your shoes. The mom who said nausea is inevitable is WRONG! Many woman have none;myself included. Some tiredness, but it might not be much.
The best advice to give you is to seek out an midwife rather than an OB. They will spend more time with you, be willing to answer your questions honestly, and help you to understand that being pregnant and giving birth is a normal thing and NOT a medical event.
Lastly, take an out of hospital birth class such as HypnoBirthing or Bradley
Feel free to contact me if you have any more questions.

There are all sorts of ways you feel. And they can include having to go to the bathroom a lot, nausea, tiredness or not so tired, hungry, not so hungry, and whatever you feel, it is yours, you own it. Do not let anyone belittle you if you are tired and they try to tell you they never were tired while they were pregnant. Do not let anyone tell you they only gained a pound and they had a twentyseven pound baby. You will have similarities in pregnancy, you will not have everything exactly the same as others. Celebrate you, your little life, and while you can appreciate all the advice given out there, enjoy your own specialness.

The 40 weeks of pregnancy start with week 1 being the first day of your last period, week 2 would be when conception occurs, week 4 is when you can first get a positive pregnancy test.

I didn't find out I was pregnant until 5 weeks, but at around 2 or 3 weeks, I had to pee CONSTANTLY. Every time I went to the bathroom it felt like my bladder was full every 20 minutes! I also had very (sometimes excruciating) breast pain and tenderness. There were also little things that I confused with pre-period symptoms like cramps. I didn't start the whole morning sickness thing until about 6 weeks, but I'm 36 weeks now and I'm STILL getting nauseous in the morning (talk about unlucky, huh? lol) Good luck if you are pregnant, and my best advice is if you want to be prepared, ask your doctor questions and study up on pregnancy A LOT!

Hi E.,

At two weeks pregnant, your pregnancy hormone levels are really too low yet for any noticeable symptoms. A lot of it is psychological at the beginning. I felt wonderful until my doctor's appt - he verified that I actually was pregnant - that was all I needed to hear to get morning sickness...24 hours a day. If you are searching for symptoms, your mind may make you believe you have them, so just enjoy feeling good at this point!

Good luck,
L.

Maybe a little scared.
This is a good time to start eating right, if you haven't already.
Also taking prenatal vitamins.

E.:

Every W. and EVERY pregnancy is different.

With my first pregnancy - I was sicker than a dog for 4 months - the smell of tuna made me vomit (not an exaggeration)

Second pregnancy? LOVED LIFE - could eat ANYTHING and EVERYTHING without fear of running to the bathroom - craved Edy's Rocky Road ice cream - HAD to be Edy's could NOT be ANYTHING else.

With that being said - the fact that you know you are pregnant at two weeks is just incredible! Most women don't find out until they are at least 5 to 6 weeks.

I would say to go with what your body tells you, get plenty of sleep and exercise and truly - do NOT listen to horror stories about child birth - that will stress you out and stress just doesn't work on a pregnant W..

You will feel pressure and cramping - but again - it is different for every W. and every pregnancy - some women have spotting, the cramping is from the uterus expanding as is the pressure. Your breasts will most likely start feeling sore as they grow too (keep in mind some women's breasts don't expand until AFTER the baby is born). your body will be going through a ton of changes.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

I didn't feel anything untill 6 weeks, and even that was very small. Just a twinge (like super light cramps) and that was the baby implanting.

only thing I noticed was a bit more emotionalism. Like I went to my mom's house and saw a cat that used to be mine, I was almost in weepy tears over seeing my old cat, I mean I loved the cat don't get me wrong...it was just a little extreme. I could see a butterfly and just get teary over the beauty and my boobs were getting bigger immediately. I just knew I was preggo and I was!! With my second, I really didn't notice anything, but I had tried to get pregs so I kind of knew I was. Good luck!
