check out the book: taking charge of your fertility. has charts that are easy, but also helps you read the signs from your body and helps you learn how to take your temp and chart daily. it helped me!!
MY husband and I decided that we are ready to have another baby. The problem is that I have been trying to look up fertility calendars and how to figure out when it is you can most easily get pregnant but they are so confusing. Does anyone have an easy way to figure out when your fertile times are during the month?

I also recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It's easy to follow and will answer all of your questions. I found it very helpful.
From what I understand- everyone is different when it comes to ovulation. My husband and I are trying again to become pregnant and I recently purchased a clear blue easy ovulation kit. It showed that I was ovulating exactly two weeks from the day my period started. I think ovulation kits are the easiest way to tell.
I was told by a friend that 12 to 14 days after your period starts your most fertil. not sure if it is true or just coincidence but it worked for me better than all that charting and watching your tempature. Good luck
I use the test stick ovulation test. you just take a test everyday starting right after your period, it tells you about 24 hours before you ovulate.
After 6 months of trying with our last we used the test for one month and got pregnant right away.
We used the day 10 thorugh 20 rule to get pregnant with 2 of our kids.
Then I read the book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility and used that method to get pregnant this time. It was much easier to just time between 3 or 4 days then to do a span of 10+.
Otherwise, a good rule of thumb (which I learned from the book) is to watch your cervical fluid. When it is extremely noticable and (long, stretchy, etc.--sorry to be gross) that is a very positive sign that you are in your fertile stage.
Get the book from your local library. It was an easy read and had a ton of great info.
I am not quite sure about fertility calendars but you should really ask your doctor about some of the vitamins you and your husband can take. It can really make conception easier and unlike some fertility drugs vitamins are not harmful to you in any way and actually make a great start to a healthy baby.
