What multi vitamin would you recommend for a toddler? I don't want to waste money on something that they aren't able to absorb...and it's tricky to get any real information about vitamins online because everyone is promoting their product.

Think about getting a whole foods vitamin. They will get the whole parts of the vitamins, instead of the synthetic separated versions. I would stay away from products like Juice Plus, Melaluca, or other MLM brands. Just my personal opinion. Here, is a very good one! They have other children's multis, too.

Koala Pals by Oligo are highly absorbable. I agree with Lynn. Our whole family takes them (they make them for adults too) and they are truly the best. The only problem I find is that they might be hard to chew for a toddler. You may have to break them. Good luck!
By the way, Melaleuca isn't an MLM. =) It's totally worth looking into!
I recommend Koala Pals as well- I have a 2.5 yr old and he loves them and would eat the whole bottle if I gave him free reign! ;)
Another brand I like is the Natures Plus source of life Animal Parade- he used to take these as well and liked them. they are vitamins from food sources. I used to take the adult version and liked them, but switched to Oligo because I notice results with them.
Thought you also might like some scientific data- (I was unable to find any absorbtion rates for the source of life vitamins- but I did a vinegar test on them and after 12 hrs, the vitamins wasn't completely dissolved.) www.oligofructosecomplex.com
