Hi moms, do any of you take vitamins and do they really work?? for months now my husband has been telling me to take vitamins, that i need them, but i don't believe in them. And now after having a baby, my body really isn't the same. I'm 27 yrs old with a one year old. I'm constantly tired, i feel weak every now and then, I eat fine and i drink water, i was also going to the gym but stopped because its too expensive, i can't get myself to go out and walk or bike ride because to me its boring, i rather be in a gym. Before I had a baby i never took vitamins, but then again i had way more energy than what i have now. So again, do vitamins really work and which ones? thank you

What can I do next?

check out http://www.YummyLiquidVitamins.com Hubby and I have been taking them for a year and love them! They are also coming out with an adult chewable this month. Yes, vitamins are worth it. We take them every day as well as our kids and we are NEVER sick, my kids have not thrown up since they were babies and we also do NOT get the flu shot! Hope you find something that works for you...good luck!!!

Of course we need vitamins. The American diet can be inadequate and in order to feel well and keep our immune systems well, we take vitamins. I would recommend Standard Process. They are a whole food vitamin, meaning they are made directly from food so better absorbed by the body. Start off with there multivitamin called Catalyn. Other vitamins are called synthetic, meaning they are man-made and not as readily or completely absorbed. Vitamins have made a huge difference in my life, especially since having kids. Pregnancy and breast feeding can really deplete your bodys stores of vitamins and minerals.

Yes we all take vitamins here at my home. Actually, the ones I take come with a 100% money back guarantee. If you don't feel better or notice a difference in your energy level, see improvement in your health within the 90-day challege, you can return empty bottles for 100% of your money back. I also used the same vitamins for my prenatal care. Amazed to see that my glucose test with my 2nd pregnancy came back with better results than my 1st pregnancy test. Additionally, my children have never been on any antibiotics. They rarely even catch colds. The same for hubby and I. So, yes, my vitamins work!

Vitamins are very important. Did you know that people who suffer from Fibromyalgia and Polymyalgia are seriously depleted in vitamin D3? There is also a link to low vitamin D levels and Depression. Calcium is very important for your bones. B vitamins can help with migraines and energy, there is so much that taking vitamins can help with. Especially after having a baby as you are so busy taking care of some one else that your body gets depleted from it's essential nutrients. The best way to find a vitamin is ask around and then if the vitamin dissolves in water it's supposed to be good for you because the body is absorning the nutrients. It may sound weird to you but costco has a very good rating on their multivitamin. It's the only one out there that's USP rated. Not sure what that means but they put their signature stuff through the ringer before putting their name on it. Sales associates at Whole Foods in the vitamin section are well versed in vitamins and the ones that are good for you, however, they are pretty expensive there. I get mine from costco. Word of mouth is best on holistic approaches such as this. Good luck finding the one that's right for you. : )

I take Vitality Pack w/Oligo by Melaleuca. As stated below you do not absorb all the vitamins that you get from the store brands. With Vitality you get 10x the absorption than you get from Centrum or One-A-Day. I also researched it and have a great study on them. I can send you the research stuff if you like. Message me for more info.

Good vitamins do work. The trick is getting a quality vitamin that your body can actually process/absorb. Some on the market have a high value listed but your body doesn't actually get the benefit of those vitamins because they are eliminated with little absorption.

I take Oligo.
