I just went to the health department to get a vaccination exemption for my son for preschool. They said they don't do it. BUT both my pediatrician and Duval County website tell me to go there. Do you have any ideas? Do I just need to get pushy?
Thanks for your help.

Thats strange... I was told to get this at the Health dept, also. We havent made it down there yet. Did you go to this one?

Duval County Health Department's Immunization Center at 5220 N. Pearl St., ###-###-####.

I know my hubby just called the Health Department and was told he had to make an appointment. He was also told only one person handles these. They have a history of being nasty on the phone,as other parents have told me, but it was easy once they go there.

Me and my sister just obtained exemptions this year for our babies. We did make an appt with the supervisor at the Immunization Center. I can't remember her name, I got mine in January so it's been a while. They tried to talk us out of it but we instisted and they did easily give us the form.
