I use it with beef broth to cook pork in the slow cooker for BBQ.

I sometimes make more coffee than what I need, and usually through away the left overs.
But I was wondering if you have save in the refrigerator the left over coffee for the next day, does it taste bad?
I like cold coffee too, so I don't mind the cold part and it would be nice to just walk down open the refrigerator and have my coffee right away but wonder if it comes sour or even bad. The price of coffee at least mine is not expensive and I don't always make more then what we drink, so either way is ok, but I wonder if any of you have save it or does it gets sour or acid, or something yuky?
If you don't save your left overs are any use on the house for left over coffee ?

I don't even chill the left overs, I just reheat the next morning and it tastes great and I have never gotten an upset stomach. Brewing schedule: brew 2 cups, drink one cup day of brew drink antoher cup the morning, after.... repeat :)
Freeze into icecubes. Use in iced coffee. That way your iced coffee doesn't get diluted.
It's fine the next day if you chill it. I love it for iced coffee. You can also use it in some baking recipes. I've used it for European style coffee cakes and tiramisu. Nom nom nom.
Chocolate cake! Or anything chocolate for that matter!
Same thing happens to me everyday. Sometimes I reheat it and suffer through it, but it's just not the same, you know? Most times I dump it.
I really should make more of an effort to make LESS coffee the first time!

I refrigerate the rest, and either reheat it later in the day, or make iced coffee (with or without alcohol, LOL!!)
Sometime's if there's a TON left, I'll reheat it the next morning and stick it back in the pot (and mix it with some new stuff)...
I hate 'recycling' coffee, but I'm as frugal as they come and I will NOT waste a drop!!
It's good for compost also, if you have a compost pile (or a friendly neighbor with one). =)
you could make Tiramisu (it's quite easy) or Coffee Ice Cream. Additionally, there are many other desserts that require coffee.. years ago, I had a boyfriend whose family would make a batch of strong coffee and keep it in the fridge all week and when they wanted to drink it, would add a little water and heat it up. I don't really like re-heated coffee, but they didn't mind it and did it all the time.. Therefore, I don't think it goes bad as long as it's in the fridge..
All the uses others have posted- freeze into ice cube trays to use in iced coffee, refrigerate for iced coffee, dump into chocolate cake if I happen to be making cake, cool it and feed it to the house plants, but 1 other is you can make espresso powder from the used grounds. Espresso powder is used to make instant espresso, intensify chocolate desserts, make tiramisu, etc. Basically, you dry out your used coffee grounds. Once they are dry, you grind them up fine in the food processor and then store in a cool dry place.
I freeze leftover coffee in ice cube trays and put them in a ziplock freezer bag to use when I make iced coffee.
I save it and reheat it the next day. Guess I'm not too fussy about my coffee?! It depends on how much I have left--a cup or more I save, less than a cup I dump.
I pour some in ice cube trays and have cold coffee the next day. Or I warm it up and drink it warm. Tastes fine to me.
I save coffee in the fridge and it still tastes good the next day. Yum. :)

I try very hard not to make too much coffee. My cousin told me that it is good for your plants. So if I do have left overs I use it to water the plants. I don't do it when the coffee is hot. I make my coffee the night before so if I have any leftover from that morning I go around and water the plants. I also save the grounds. I have a compost, but not a big one, so mainly I put coffee grounds and egg shells.
