my aunt got me a ring that was a cross it was really cool.. nothing crazy expensive just plain gold
I need a unique idea for a First Communion Gift for a girl. I would like it to be somewhat religious, but know that she will be getting plenty of rosaries, Mass books, etc. Any suggestions? I am sure someone will get her a Crucifix necklace etc. Any ideas are appreciated.
Thanks for the ideas. I really like the charm bracelet idea, she can add to it over the years!!

My kids all got a gold cross when they were born, a bigger one for communion and an adult one for conformation. Maybe not original but I always thought it was cool.
I started my daughter with a charm bracelet last year for her birthday and so now I can buy her charms for each special event. For her first communion next week, I bought her the bible charm. I wanted the cross, but she preferred the bible and it is her bracelet so that is what I got.
My SIL is getting my niece a charm bracelet and asking everyone to get her a charm. I thought it was a great idea! Maybe you could buy the bracelet and 1st charm. Zales.com had over 500 charms and many were religious (bible, cross, etc)
the charm bracelet is a surefire hit!
Hi A.-
I second the charm bracelet idea...I have one from my first communion...and then added to yearly by my grandma...the bracelet and 'first' charm was a chalice...over the years, the charms reflected my life (other folks added to it)...I have a horse charm from years of riding...I have a charm that says "If ever in trouble...here is the price of a call" with a REAL silver dime in it (yite...I am reflecting my age...LOL)...and many other charms reflecting my life...
Was a wonderful 'starter'...
Here is hoping many more 'charms' come my way!!
Best Luck!

I have a friend who has a jewelry business and actually started and specializes in baptism bracelets. You can get them custom for about $20 - really pretty. Message me if interested, dont' want to advertise on here!
Thx!
