Have you tried giving up caffeine and/or sugar? Worked for me.
Actually, whatever is in Diet Pepsi (not necessarily the caffeine) made me sweat bullets.
I've had a sweating problem for over a decade and I'm really sick of it. I've tried what feels like every antiperspirant under the sun. Most of them leave me itching like crazy. I've tried Certain Dri, Secret Clinical, and Degree Clinical, Mitchum...those all leave me itchy. Most recently I've tried Dove Clinical and while it doesn't make me itchy, it worked for about a week, but here I am sweating again. I guess the next step would be Drysol, but I don't want to invest the time (dr. appointment) and money if it's just going to be like every other option. I won't do botox.
Has anyone else had this issue and found a solution? Please help!

I tried everything as well, but I'm now happily on Drysol. I used to go through 3-4 shirts a day and was miserable (and yes, I tried all of the different Ultra-Strength, Clinical, etc. on the market)! I figured, though, that everyone was in a similar boat until I married my husband who never ever sweats! But, even after this revelation, it took me 4 more years to finally talk with my doc. He said I should try Drysol. It isn't expensive with insurance - I think it's like $5 every 5-6 months (but even without insurance, it'd be like $10). You don't use it every day, and it's great! The first few times you apply it (at night), it will itch - but by the middle of the night, it is fine. The nice thing is, it lasts for quite awhile before you need to reapply (think days). And now, if I go too long to reapply, I use regular Secret antiperspirant and it actually works the way it's supposed to! I've been using it successfully (and only one shirt a day now!!!) for over 4 years.
So, I understand why you don't want to go through the hassle if it doesn't work, but for me, it's worked wonders! It is soooo nice to raise my arms or open a door without worrying about huge underarm circles. I even use it on my feet (a separate bottle) and hands! I mentioned it to my Dad and now he is on it too! So, in my opinion, it's worth it to ask the doc (or at least mention you'd like a prescription for it when you go in for your next appt). Good luck!
I had the same problem! I found this website www.stopsweat.com and ordered their product, Maxim anti-perspirant roll-on, and it works! At first, you put it on every night and then only every other night. One bottle costs $14.95 but it lasts 2-3 months. Totally worth it! You should check it out. Good luck!
hi, my husband had this problem. what we found worked for him, was to not use a solid or a roll on. instead he now uses the spray deoderant. it has been about a year and it seems to be working great. good luck
Mitchum was the only thing that worked for me.
I used Sweat Block. You can buy it on Amazon. It helped me!
i'm not too concerned about sweating, so long as i don't smell, so i've been using crystal deodorants which really do the trick.
for anti-perspirant, have you tried just taking a finger-tip-ful of baking soda and rubbing it under there? great stuff!

Baby powder under the arm pits.
Try that.
