You definitely would want to cleanse first to remove the dirt, makeup and oil. Serums next, so your skin lightening product, then moisturizer, spf and makeup/foundation. Usually the more lightweight products go on first so they can absorb. Hope that helps.

I don't know the face application order, sorry.

As for the movie, my daughter JUST had her 11th birthday & she asked for & received Monte Carlo for Christmas. There isn't any cursing, or nudity, but there is some snottiness, so I guess since I don't know how strict you are with your kids, it would be a judgement call. For us, I think it's fine.

ETA--Monte Carlo is NOT a Disney movie. Just fyi

Ok, two totally diff things going on here

Wash Face, Toner, Moisturizer, Sunscreen - it's best if your moisturizer has sunscreen IN it and your foundation too!
Then you want to apply your foundation - same color as you neck, then color correct with your concealer, salmon over reds/yellows and yellow over browns/purples then finishing powder.

Monte Carlo - never seen it and I am of the opinion to screen first then make a choice.

Sometimes it depends on your regimine line, but my current one does have lightening creams and goes as follows
Cleanse, special product (lightening cream, photo age reducer, etc) moisturizer w/sunscreen.
At night, I also add eye cream after the lightening and use a different/heavier lotion and if I am doing an intense moisture treament, I simply skip the lotion that night.
If you don't have a moisturizer w sunscreen, I always add that on last. :)

I have no idea about the movie. Two boys who would rather poke their eyes out than watch Ms. Gomez - LOL!

Taking the grime and stuff off your skin from the day is very important in my mind. I think that since our makeup, skin oils, etc are sort of sticky sometimes that dust, allergens, dirt, gross stuff I can only imagine, is stuck to my face at bedtime. So I always deep clean my face in the evening. I have used Dove bar soap, some facial cleaning towelettes that make suds when they get wet, cleansing cream, Noxema, etc...I have some I liked and some I didn't.

I like a deep cleansing cream because it dissolves the mascara and I don't have raccoon eyes. I like something not greasy for night time cleaning though because I don't want to leave a slimy pillow in the morning. So I use Mary Kay Extra Emollient Cleansing Cream on my eye area and then use whatever on the rest of my face. Usually something wiped off like the Noxema or a regular cleansing cream. I don't like soapy type things that I can't rinse off in the shower.

I like a good mask, I liked the green Mary Kay one. I used it usually a couple of times per week in the morning before my shower, let it dry, then got in the shower, it rinses off very well with all the running water, no grit or residue. Then I put on a tiny tiny bit of moisturizer if it was winter, then base, then make up.

If you have spots on your skin that need to be lightened you might talk to a dermatologist about what works and what doesn't. I have no idea about that. I know they do advertise a lot of items on TV for them. I like using a mineral powder base, it really covers my uneven skin tone. But the mask I use seems to really help with that. Maybe it's the rubbing/scrubbing to remove it that pushes the blood around. I don't know for sure, I have developed a lot more red undertones lately.

I usually like Selena and let my grand kids watch most all Disney movies. Are the live (non animated) ones a bit too old for them? Probably but truth be told, kids don't get the undertones of most movies. They see what a kids is supposed to see. The fun, the action, the friendship, etc...they don't see the innuendos, the tension, etc...they just don't pick up on that stuff.

My friend loved the Village People Movie when she was a kid, her mom was totally up in arms about the theme of the movie. My friend decided one day to rent the movie as an adult and watch it. She was appalled at the content. She never got any of the adult theme. She loved the music and action but never never saw or understood the adult stuff.
