Turned It over to God

So I apologize for causing such an uproar on here. I let my emotions take over, the idea of living together was appealing. But after turning it over to God, I know in my heart it isn't the right thing to do for my kids, me or my boyfriend. I think living together would've destroyed our relationship. I have never lived with a man outside of marriage but I thought it was a good decision. After much prayer and talking with my bf, we both decided that living together was not the right move. If, in time, we get married, we will cross that bridge at that time. Thank you to the mamas who expressed concern without judging or bashing me. We miss each other so much when we are apart, but sometimes it's good to miss someone and to know that someone misses you :)

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Well mamas, we are getting married Friday! God has blessed us beyond measure. My kids absolutely love the fact that we are getting married. Problems with my daughter have diminished. What an awesome thing to have God in the center of our marriage........I know problems will come, but our love is enough to work through anything. We have never even had a fight; so different from my first marriage.

wow I give you major credit for reevaluating your decsion when dealing with the powerful blinding emotion of falling in love (it makes us all lose site of things sometimes-J. means you're human and have the ability to fall in love=))! You seem awesome, I hope things work out and eventually you can have a happy family together=) I hope your daughter learns to deal with her feelings towards the divorce as well. Thats got to be tough I know some adults that paretns divorced when they were 20 and you think theyd be able to cope, but I think sometimes it harder the older they are.

GL=) Have fun with the complicated lifestyle of dating and being a single parent--thats what i'm doing...hectic isn't it?

We all have had some type of dilemma in our lives. I wish I had this forum 20 years ago so I could *hear* the truth, it would have saved me a lot of time & heartache.

The important thing is you were mature enough to hear the concern we ALL had for you & your family. You are doing the right thing for you & your very impressionable daughter.

God is wonderful.
