Just wanted to see who else has run into this:
I have always heard that in your 30's your sex drive picks up. But this is crazy! I don't know how to control/contain all of this energy I have. I mean, it is great, but I have not felt like this since I was 18. Does this stay around for a long time? If so, I need to find a way to cope and be able to get through staffing meetings without my mind wandering!
Umm..all I can say is that most of us (and our husbands) wish we had that problem!! No solutions, but I would pay if you could bottle some of that up and send it my way..hehe! It might be a hormone situation though, as elevated testosterone can cause a higher sex drive, hence the reason men have such high sex drive in general. Have it checked out if you are worried, other wise, enjoy it while you can!! ~A.~
This happened to me when I turned 34. Enjoy it. It lasted for several years. It's ok to "be your own best friend" even if you're married or, in a relationship. Explore, explore, explore. Go to a toy store - the first time is weird but, you get over it. Have fun.
The same thing happened to me after my hysterectomy when I turned 40. I'm 48 and it is still going strong.
I am enjoying the after effects of my surgery, I feel free, never looked better, my boobs even grew to perky DD's.

Wow i wish I was in your shoes. I'm about to turn 31. So far it's gone DOWNHILL. It probably doesn't help that we have a 4 year old and a 6 month old
The same thing happened to me about 4 months ago. I just turned 32 last week. It was like a light came on and it's all I think about. Now we're having baby number 3...a surprise from all this love making. Enjoy it....I'm still going strong and I'm 8 weeks.
