I"ve been trying for 4 months to get pregnant with my second. I just had a fertility massage and will be Trying this weekend. anyone have any suggestions that worked for them to make it happen?! I would love a positive stick test for Christmas:)

It seems when we first started trying we weren't doing it right. (Haha) My doctor had to tell me (and you probably already know this) that if you want to get pregnant you must stick a pillow under your bum and lay still that way for 30 minutes after sex. The first time we did that, I swear to you, we conceived. OH, and he said during the 10 days when you are most likely to ovulate, don't do it EVERY day, do it every OTHER day, otherwise hubby will be shooting blanks toward the end. You don't mention that you are tracking your cycles, but you are only fertile for about 24 hours out of the month. Check out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility for more information-- and remember that it isn't even considered outside the range of normal for it to take 1 year to get pregnant so don't stress out!

The first thing that popped out at me is the "trying" word.. that word has a lot of "stress" around it not matter what it is we are trying to do! 4 months without success at trying something can indeed cause more stress in a situation that is already stressful because you have a "time limit" in front of you.
