Trying to Find a Great Daycare in St. Louis City

I just graduated with my teaching degree. My husband and I will be working in the fall and usually my father or brother and his wife keep our daughter. We want to get our daughter into a great learning environment that is safe and affordable. Any ideas?

What can I do next?

Try Growing Footprints ###-###-####). Hours are 6:30 am-6 pm. It's located at Rhodes and Macklind - near Kingshighway and Eichelberger if you know where that is (south part of the city). My niece goes there and they really like it. It's run by a police wife and a lot of police and firefighters take their kids there. My niece is an infant though, so they haven't had experience really in the "learning" part though. But, it's worth checking out - I know they are happy. Good luck!

I know a couple of people who have used Washington University's preschool. I think it's on Forest Park Parkway, on the northern end of the Wash U campus, between Skinker and Big Bend? I personally have no experience with it, but have heard good things.

We were really happy with Children's Enrichment Center ("CEC") on S. Ewing near downtown. It's across from the big AG Edwards complex. ###-###-#### (I think.)
