This isn't a parenting question, but I have gotten such great responses and advice on this website that I thought I would ask my question here. I am throwing my mom a birthday party and I wanted to play a "How well do you know her" trivia game, but I am having a hard time coming up with unique questions for it. So far I have what's her favorite color, food... etc. Does anyone have any creative questions I could use. Thanks so much!!!
We did something similar for my grandparent's 60th wedding anniversary-lots of fun! How about..where did she go to school, where did she meet your dad, if she could go on a dream vacation- where would it be, would she rather travel somewhere by driving or flying, as a teenager, what did she dream of becoming as an adult.
S., what an awesome thing to do for your mom! I'm sure she'll love it. Are you doing mulitple choice for the answer? if so, what about asking harder questions too that maybe only some guest would know...like "which one of her children did this...."type questions...the harder questions might induces some story telling from certain guests, or even your mother.

where did she go to school (elem-college)?
her first job?
if she's married, when is the wedding anniverary?
dream vacation?
her celebrity crush?
that's what i came up with....
favorite movie, name of pet, where she grew up, favorite hobby, what she does in spare time, favorite restaurant, best friend, fast or slow driver, favorite food, age when married, favorite song/artist.

Try google searching "free bridal shower games" I just had a shower for my soon to be sister-in-law and they had a game like that with many questions. There are probably several sites for this.
