Trisomy 15 is when you have an extra number 15 chromosome. It is like Trisomy 13 or Down's Syndrome. I know it is really rare and should not effect the liklihood of having it during your next pregnancy. I didn't know it could cause miscarriages.

I believe I have a friend who had that, and sadly, the baby was entrusted to God much sooner than anyone wanted. However, the family did have another child who is as healthy as can be. My advice is to ask the doctors as many questions as you need to until you're comfortable facing the future.

I just re-read your question and NOW understand what you were asking! Sorry if I worried you with my last response!
Anyway, the genetic counselor will answer any questions you have but I wouldn't be alarmed. It IS rare that it will happen again. Sorry to hear of your miscarriage. I had one 2 years ago and have since had a little boy who is now 20 months old. Good luck with everything!

Start taking folic acid supplements, before you get pregnant. there is some evidence it might be a cause.
