Hello again Mom's,

I live in the brandon area by the mall and I'm looking for a great place to go trick or treating with our 2 year old. My husband was thinking the mall, but if I know my luck, there wont be any candy left and I dont want my son to be disapointed. Are there any great neighborhoods in the brandon area that are hot spots for trick or treating? I dont want to take him to a haunted house, he is frighten of the scarry holloween displays and we dont need any more nightmares. We went to part city today for a holloween costume, and couldnt even get into the door because he was screaming his head off. (Poor baby) Any ideas would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
T.

for little ones I recommend the halloween event at the aquarium - we take our little ones and they get a little bit of candy and a lot of seeing the fish, which they love! It's safe, it's clean and although it draws a crowd, it has been very well run the times we've gone.

The Brandon Library has a trick or treat event. It's the library on Vonderburg. Center Place actually puts it on. Local businesses pass out candy and such. You need to get tickets (They are FREE). Just call and see if any are left.

Who said the ghosts and goblins only come out at night? Costumed Munchkins through age 10 (accompanied by an adult) are invited to take part in a Halloween Parade around Center Place. The paraders will find Treat Stations located along the route where they will be given goodies by the costumed hosts &

hostesses from various civic clubs and businesses. The Halloween Lady and Ronald McDonald will be there to clown around with the children. We‘re looking forward to this safe, fun-filled Halloween Horribles Parade.

TICKETS ARE FREE but

REQUIRED AND LIMITED TO 800 CHILDREN.

Tickets will be available beginning OCT. 6TH at Center Place.

Watch the papers there are lots of Church's that have Halloween special events. One of them even have trunk trick or treating in a big field. As my children are grown I am not sure any longer what Chuch's do what but I do know you don't have to be a member or even attend Church to go to the events. Very safe enviroment to be in. Have fun.
