I don't have one of those special deviled-egg dishes with the indentations in it. What would be the best way to take a batch of deviled eggs to a potluck?
Thanks.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

A dollar for that dish? Really? Well that's an investment I could make. Thanks.

an idea is leaving the hard boiled eggs in the carton and taking the stuff you put in the middle into a ziploc bag and then finish preparing them at the location.
Cut a little hole into the ziploc and use it like a frosting thingy the bakers use.

I put them in rectangular tupperware container and if I have to stack more than one layer, separate the layers with waxed paper

find a tupper, where they will all fit touching each other and only slightly squished on the sides, and tall enough not to touch the tops with their mounds of yummy yellow goodness. Then I wrap it in a dishtowel and I put light tie around it, like a cloth belt, my kids clothes comes with hundreds of them. Then I carry it oh so carefully and place it in a brown paper sack to carry and store on floor of mini van with my purse behind it and console infront of it.

A uses a very shallow dish that has sides and puts lettuce of the bottom to keep the eggs from slipping around.

egg cartons, or make your own partitions with foil on a cookie tray,or stick toothpicks in the eggs to keep them from rolling... I'm interested to see what others come up with. crafty ladies out there! ;P
