Hi Moms! We're looking for a good certified Toyota mechanic in Tucson. We've been doing the dealer maintenance thing and are sick of the attitude and the fact they've never actually replaced the oil filter (yes, we made a mark and checked!). We'd love to find someone reliable and thorough.

Parker's on Speedway comes highly recommended.

Don't know if they're certified or not, but Nippon Motors and Borst are good. I've used them both and had no attitude issues and the work is done when they say or else they call and let you know why.

Hi M.,

My mechanic is Kurt at ###-###-####. He's great: reliable and honest. He just did work on my Honda Odyssey and I know he works on Toyotas. Good luck and smart thinking about marking the oil filter!

P.S. I'm a single mom and my Dad's a car guru who lives out of the country. He found my mechanic via all his car buddies (MOPAR etc) here in Tucson so that I would get honest service at a fair price.

My hubby only buys Toyoda's and uses Dan's Toy Shop on Fort Lowell and 1st ALL the time! Their number is ###-###-####. Good Luck, I know how frustrating it can be.
