My two year old daughter has really fine hair like myself, she also has some curls in the back bottom portion, which she got from her father. My question is what kind of shampoo and/or conditioner would your recommend. Her hair is getting longer and at times it looks like we didn't even wash it the next day. My hair is straight and very fine, so I've never been much of product user and do not know much about curls. Thanks for any advice.

What can I do next?

Curls make for wash and wear hair. If you want volume try Burt's Bees volumizing shampoo.

My DD has curls, too. We asked her pediatrician and she said to try a little Dove to get out the tangles. We use Aveeno shampoo/body wash and the Dove conditioner and it's worked really well for us. I just take a small dab and work it through the curls with my fingers at the end of her bath. My mom said I had curls like that when I was her age and not to brush it or it looks worse, so we rarely brush it. I find that if I run my fingers through it, most of the time I don't need a brush, as long as I detangle regularly. I bought some tiny little pony tail holders without the metal in them and have used them to keep the hair out of her face when necessary.

Both of my older daughters have curly hair; my 3 year old also has super-fine hair. We use baby shampoo on our their hair and a little conditioner *just* on the ends. If we put conditioner all the way to the roots then their hair looks oily the next day.

Ditto Garnier Fructis hair products.
Their leave in conditioner is great and does not accumulate.
Or their hair shine serums.

With fine hair, be sure to trim it regularly, because split-ends will make her hair tangled and look like a mess.
I know some Toddlers, that have fine longish hair... and it really looks awful actually and unkept, because the Moms do not trim the split-ends off of their daughters hair.

I would use children's shampoo, tear free, then use adult conditioner. I use Garnier Fructise on my daughter and it makes it really soft and takes the knots out. Everytime she eats I put her hair up in a pony tail to keep it out of her face and out of her food. She ALWAYS gets food in her hair and that makes it knotty and dirty.
