I have a 21 month old daughter. I'm pretty sure we feed her well for dinner, but she is waking up at night now wanting to be fed. We know she wants to be fed because she walks to the fridge and pointing at her milk and food. Could she be having a growth spurt? Just curious:)

What can I do next?

Could be. Do you do a bedtime snack after dinner? That might help her get through the night.

my dd is also 21 mo and about twice a week she wakes during the middle of the night asking for milk. I make her a danimal yougurt mixed with milk. then we just sit in the darkness while she drinks her drink after she is done I hold her for a few then its right back to bed. she will sleep till 730-800. She does get a snack bf bed but I dont go heavy with it. I often make her a sandwhich or a yogurt with fruit. so this is normal follow her cues.

Im sure thats what it is. My son is about a year older than your daughter. He has always been a fairly "selective" eater lol. But I can always tell when he goes through a growth spurt. He is CONSTANTLY hungry. Always asking for something. Anything! he doesnt care. He'll tell me when he's getting ready to go to bed that he's hungry and at first I thought he had gotten smart enough to lie or figure out ways to stay up longer. But I would offer him leftovers from dinner, everything we had that night if theres some left, and he would eat it. everytime. not once did he say he was hungry and end up not eating. I told myself if he did that then he wouldnt get food anymore at bedtime, but he never did! I would say trust her when she says she's hungry until she gives you a reason not to.
