I just have to share with you all! Today was a good day! I got accepted for my internship at the special rec association which I am so super excited about! Then my husband got offered full time job (he's was out of work for 3 months and then was only working about 15 hours a week) so we will be able to breathe soon! And then, as of 9pm, my Intro to Family Violence class was over! Done! Finito! Yay! (It was the worst class ever- the material was hard to handle and we had the worst instructor on the planet- 1st night of class she used the term 'retards' to describe disabled people. I wanted to punch her in the face and I had 4 more months of her). I am free! I am just so happy! It has been a good day today!

I spent the morning with my 6 month old at the beach...although I was grading papers...but I can't complain. The afternoon was a blur because said 6 month old wouldn't nap, but was super grumpy and tired. And now, said 6 month old is asleep and my husband is working late, so I'm relaxing with some wine watching junk TV. Oh yeaaaaah.
Sounds like you are on the up and up. Congrats on the internship and your hubby's job!!! No small feat in this economy.
Wish I had a day like yours. Most difficult as "nap-gate" with my two-year-old plays on, and on and on. (Insert screaming in crib for 20 minutes and no downtime for mama at all!)

My day didnt have many redeaming moments BUT tomorrow is a new day and I'm sure it will be better.
a beautiful day in mid-MO. My 15yo got some practice driving in....& I got to ride in his vintage Camaro with the t-tops off. We picked up all of my flowers/plants for Saturday's planting session + found all of my gifts for the wkend. It's a very good thing...anytime I can beat the crowd! & a relief that I did not have to wait to hit the city to buy them..... that's the hardest part of living in a small town. :)

It was a pretty good day just because the sun finally came out after nearly a week of rain. My kids were so happy to be outside.
