No, I think it would be gross and messy, and for one week I can wait it out. For some reason though, my husband is always the horniest when I'm on my period, but he agrees that the mess wouldn't be worth it. However, we have done it before right at the beginning or at the very end when there is only spotting type flow.

We don't because my husband is opposed. I could care less at the beginning and end - but not when it's at it's peak.

no I don't, it's messy and I have read you are more susceptible to infection etc at that time. Only one time did this happen bc I was starting and wasn't aware of it until after, it was pretty disgusting! But hey, to each his own!

We have a few times, but usually only near the end when it's not too messy. It's usually because my husband is "needy" and I'm not interested in other methods of satisfaction (if you catch my drift).
My hubs doesn't care, but I often do not feel very sexy during that time. I'm a neat freak, too, so I always put towels down in the bed just in case.

I havent "bled out" in about 2 years, thank God, but it never stopped my husband... he would always bring a dark colored towel to bed. I was never opposed to it, it usually made me feel better. Orgasms always stopped the ache if I had any at the time.

I have. Normally closer to the last day. I personally don't see anything wrong with it.

My husband is completely against it and I can kinda understand that. He doesn't mind waiting the extra couple of days... but your situation is different! Good luck! I hope you find something that allows you to "move it" a little bit!

We don't. I am prone to yeast infections and during your cycle you have increased your chances if you have intercourse. I honestly like to wait 1-2 days after. Have done it in the past...but in the shower ;-)

No, I generally don't. I don't think my husband would mind (especially if we were in a shower or tub) but it doesn't appeal to me.

I don't like it, I'm too nervous about staining things. I don't think he'd care. Although this last one was just before my husband was headed out of town, and we talked about maybe hitting the shower so I wouldn't have to worry. I decided to hold out to the last minute to see if it cleared enough.

No, I think it's kinda gross. We have done it on the last day or so of my period when the flow is very light, but other than that, no.

I'm not a huge fan, naturally due to the potential mess. But my ever positive (read constantly horny) fiance says, "that's what showers are for." He totally does not care. We have used towels to prevent any big messes, but even when I 'expect' there to be a big mess, there usually isn't. It never ends up being nearly as big a deal as I think it's going to be. And knowing he's not squeamish about it at all helps.
I'm guessing you're asking because of your upcoming nuptials. No? I will be in the same boat if things stay on schedule. Have you tried those Instead Softcups I told you about?? :) I have a story to share there, but I'll save that for a PM.... LMAO

YES! in fact i usually want it more during this time because I know there is a very small chance I will get pregnant! and my hubby will take it anytime lol...but i should mention i have a very light flow (I use like 10 tampons each month) and dont really get cramps or bloating during my period but instead 2-3 days before.

Sometimes at the beginning or end, but not usually on heavy days. This is more my preference because it can be a little messy otherwise. I do have a dark colored towel just for when we do.

We do & its never messy. (if you are worried about mess on him, maybe use low lighting & have a washcloth to wipe him up before he goes to clean up) for me, it gets things going & gone faster, plus eases cramps. I also think because of all the hormones, blood flow to the area, that if you get past the idea of it "being gross", the sex and orgasms can be better.

We do, it is much messier on day 1 or 2 of period though. Having sex when the period is light is no big deal. My husband has no reservations... sometimes i appreciate that about him :)

You want avoid having it for your wedding day / honeymoon? See if you can get to your OB/GYN in the coming week and get the pill - even for a short time frame - you can reset the timing of your period that way.
