i lost my mucus plug with my son and wondering if it is likely to lose it now with my daughter? just because i lost it with first pregnancy, does it mean i will most likely lose it with my second? or no? what are my chances? anyone know...thanks!
Every pregnancy is different. :)
My experience w/ my first was not the same as my second. Not. At. All.
In ways I wish it had...in other ways I was glad it was not.
So...you really just never know.

I lost it with my 1st, but not with my 2nd. I went into labor 2 days before my due date and never lost it.
I lost mine with my first, didn't notice with my 2nd
I think it's just different with each. I never lost mine with my first two and I did with my third. I am having a fourth and we shall see. My water also never broke with any of them. Wonder if it will break with this one?!
I lost my plug slowly over the course of the day as I became more effaced but stayed at 2 cm dilation, with my first I had a spontaneous rupture of membranes that soaked my workstation and clothing... if I had a mucus plug loss I never saw it.
Each pregnancy is different
Lost it with my second and not my first. I think all pregnancies are different...water broke at home, 3 weeks early with my first. Right on time with my second and water broke at the very end of my labor.
Okay... per my first pregnancy:
I lost my mucus plug, and that SAME day, I went into labor. My daughter was born 1 week early.
With my 2nd, well it was a c-section at 38 weeks. I didn't lose my mucus plug then.
Have your hospital bag all ready and packed.
And notify your Husband.
Each pregnancy is different though.
There is no way to predict it.
I lost it with all three. The first two after more than 12 hours of early labor. The last one, after my water broke.
