YOU HAVE.........

36 foam pumpkins (the size of your palm)
20 Halloween straws
Halloween trick or treat containers
Lollipops
and twenty 10 year olds...............

What kind of game could you create to challenge them, yet have fun?

(You could use other ordinary things to create this game too..... like cotton balls, deck of cards, paper clips, etc.. that are probably just in a typical house. ) Please "piggy back" off each other's ideas to come up with a game that will be fun. I just love hearing kids giggle at parties!)

THANKS so much! I am going to a dinosaur museum today. I hope to come back to some great ideas! The party is in 3 days!

Okay... what's your game?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Haha! Nicole, I actually thought of that too! But... with 20 kids agreeing on a game, that might take awhile and I have to leave time in the one hour party to do other things. Great ideas so far ladies. Okay.... I'll check back later today. Keep the game ideas coming!!

Get all of the crafty stuff you have in your house to have a decorating contest for the pumpkins. You can even use jello powder mixed with a little water to make edible finger paint to paint them with.

Use the straws and cotton balls for a relayrace. Have two talbes set 20 to 30 feet apart with the cotton balls on each table. Two teams with half of each team at either each table (so 10 players on each team with 5 at one table and 5 at the other). Each player gets a straw. Hands befind their back, they have to suck the cotton ball onto the end of their straw and race it to the other table. When they get there another player from their team has to pick the cotton ball up with their straw and race it back to the other tavle, and on it goes until each player has raced with the cottong ball. If they drop the ball, they have to go back to the table they got it from, pick up another one and start over. The first team that succesfully gets their cotton ball back and forth with all the team members wins.

Use the Halloween containers and the lollipops to have a Pop drop. Have the kids stand on a stool/chair above the container (or just stand above it on the ground). Hold the lollipop up to their nose and drop it into the container. See who can get the most into the container. You could use the straws and have a pumpkin blowing contest. Give them a pumpkin and in one breath see how far they can blow the pumpkin across the floor.

What's that geocatching game. Maybe you could do something like that but with pumpkin catching. The clues could be rolled up into the straws.

balancing act with hand off! have teams of two with distance (??) between them. One side will balance pumpkin on straw walking to other side and must hand off pumpkin to waiting team member using only the straw. To add humor have a funny hat ready to go. If they drop pumpkin can only use thumb and pinkie to pick up but must also wear funny hat until someone else drops pumpkin.

I think one should be your post. Give them all the stuff and have them create a game.
