I just got a pair of khaki from Banana Republic Outlet--they were $59.99, but they were 25% off. They wash and wear so nicely!!
I have three pair of khaki pants from Old Navy and I love them. They fit so perfectly, BUT they have shrank in the dryer. I have my dryer on the lowest setting and after 8 months of washing and drying they are now becoming high waters. :( At $30 a pair I am saddened that they are becoming to short.
Where did you get your perfect pair of kahaki pants? I am looking for something casual and slightly dressy. I am a size 2 and need a 35 inch inseam min a 37 if I want to wear heels.
Does any one have any ideas? And no cotton since that is what I currently have and is shrenking. :(
Thanks in advance!

I bought my favorites at White House Black Market a few months ago. I am also a size 2.
I paid roughly $90 for them and I only get them dry cleaned when needed but they are worth every penny.
I know WH/BM is having a sale right now and you might find some. I just got 2 adorable tops that were $80 each for $40 each. They are changing seasons and alot of things are on sale. Great quality clothes!!
Old navy shrinks for me too. I stick with Gap. Little more expensive but hold up so much better. Plus the fit is great. Banana Republic is nice too.
I also never dry my pants. I always hang them. I have longer legs. Not long enough to go with tall but long enough that if my pants shrink at all they are to short.
I'm a 0 petite, and love the pants at Ann Taylor Loft. They're having a 40% off sale right now, and I'm pretty sure the sale is good online or in the store. I bought 2 pairs of pants on Friday, and they are my favorite ever! I bought one in an animal print (pictured) and another in a khaki color. They say they're velvet, but they don't look like it. They seem like a very fine corduroy. They fit me better than any other pants I've ever owned. I already have them in black. Good luck!
I love my Boden khakis & my J. Crew ones, too. They have cotton in them, though. (Aren't all khakis made with at least some cotton?) I hang mine to dry; I only put them in the dryer to complete the drying process. The dryer (and hot water) makes them shrink. Use a cold water wash & hang to dry. Good luck in your search!
All you have to do is wash it in cool water, and hang it to dry.
Get another pair, from Old Navy since it is your favorite, and to me that would be worth the $30. But just wash and dry it, differently this time.
In cool water, and hang it to dry.
I can't wait to read the answers bc I'm dying to know, too...I've never found a pair of khaki pants that were just right. Ever. =(
That said, I never dry my pants in the dryer. It fades them out and will definitely shrink them, no matter where you get them from or how much you pay - it just wears out the fabric much faster.
It's the dryer that draws your pants up.
Put them in the dryer and take them out while they are still damp.
You can stretch them back out in the length and hang dry.
That's what I do with all my pants that tend to draw up. It's an exra step, but it works. I also iron them while still a bit damp and get the length right back.
It's worth a try if you really love your pants otherwise.
Eddie Bauer has great khakis and you can get them to suit your body type. I've had mine a couple years and wear them weekly three seasons of the year and they haven't shrunk at all. A good quality pair of pants won't shrink, cotton or no cotton.
I would go back to Old Navy and get another pair - I have pants that I cannot put in the dryer.
Or go to your dry cleaners with the pants you have and have them make them to the right length!!!
