This annoys me the most.......

When I am talking to someone and I am waiting for an answer to a question that I asked and that person doesn't answer me and then I ask the question again thinking that they didn't hear me , just to have the person say " I already said yes " and then I say " you didn't say yes, you didn't answer me!" and then that person says YES I did answer you.

THIS REALLY GETS MY BLOOD BOILING!!!!!!!

When I put an item away and then turn around literally 5 minutes later to find that one of my daughters has picked that very item up, carried it to another area of the house, put it down and walked away, so that now that one item needs to be picked up two times!

Also people who don't understand the proper use of there/their/they're and ESPECIALLY your/you're. I go crazy when I see things like "Your welcome"!

My husband and children leave their dirty socks in the family room. They just walk away from them. Arrgh!

Brief respite now that it's summer, but the colder, sock-wearing months are just around the corner! Beware my wrath!

It's to a point where I'd rather vote a dead jackass into office rather than anyone who's running right now.

Today when I drove my kids plus 2 others to ballet class, some pompous windbag made a snide comment about the size of my vehicle vs his (I have an Expedition, he was driving a Prius). I didn't even respond, because I was trying to get 4 little girls across the busy street to their ballet class, but I am so mad right now! I mean, I used less gas per person than he did, I'm pretty sure of it! Here I am, actually trying to do my part by keeping one more vehicle off the road and carpooling, and this a-hole gives me a lecture? You couldn't fit 4 little kids plus one adult in a Prius (well, not legally, anyway)! That guy really made me mad, and had I not been standing there with 4 kids, I'd have said what I thought.

I know that's not a household frustration, but it's a mommy driving many kids in a carpool frustration!

Spend an hour cleaning the kitchen. It's spotless. Thirty seconds later, somehow, magically, there are 3 dishes and 3 glasses in the sink, crumbs on the floor and some wet, sticky stuff on the counter. How...what...when....REALLY?!

I have two - when people don't push in their chair after they get up to leave the table...and when my hubby is looking for something in the fridge or pantry and he gets all mad because he can't find it and I open up the fridge or pantry and what he is looking for is right in front of his freakin' face.

Every one stacks their dishes in sink on counter, I feel my kids & the others in my home are old enough to rinse them & put in dish washer. I also don't like it when dirty laundry is left sitting in washer with soap. Just finish the process & start the washer!

I second when people just stop in a crowded place or walk against the flow of walking traffic!

Any kind of DNA left in the bathroom, including the stray hairs, BLECK!

Wet hand towels.

Control freak drivers that are behind you, then speed up to get in front of you for no reason and the ones that like to play "chicken" with you when right of way is in question.

When grocery shopping and people set up camp in front of the section you're looking at and are not courtesy enough to let you have a peak.

Lazy people full of excuses!!!

It bugs me when the dishwasher is running and there's more stuff used, don't spread it all over the countertop, make one pile or put it in the sink. My husband is also famous for moving stuff around. I don't need something to move from the stairs to the table in the upstairs hall. If you aren't going to put it away, don't move it.

Right now my peeve is people running the kitchen faucet at full blast WHILE wandering around the kitchen picking up things to wash off and pondering ideal dishwasher placement. I have some guests here and when that water is running I just think of money and limited natural resources going (literally) down the drain! Seriously- turn on the water towash, turn off the water to wander around or think about it!!!!!!

Oooh...I can't think of one, but now I feel guilty, because I let the water run while I'm doing dishes and sometimes I just forget to turn it off (darn mp3) and I just wander around the kitchen, wiping counters, throwing things away, etc, and realize the water's been running for five minutes. I only say this because someone said it bothered them...and she's right, I probably shouldn't do it...but honestly, the world isn't going to run out of water. Never happen.

It bothers me a lot that my husband will literally take his trash (onion peels, coffee filters) and set them on the counter above the cabinet where the trash can is, and leave them over night. I love to wake up to the smell of onions and stale coffee. :)

Gosh just one thing.....Hmmm I would have to go with soliciters. I have 2 no soliciting signs 1on my front door & 1 on my security door. But yet allmost daily there is something left on the door or the doorbell rings. So if Im home and someones rude enough to ring the bell I answer the door & ask them if they know what the defination of NO SOLICITING means. My favorite is the bible thumpers who tell me that they arent selling something so they are not soliciters....what?! I didnt ask you to come over, nor did I inquire anywhere about needing to know about another religion, so there for you are a soliciter. SO rude! Thanks for providing somewhere to let that off!

This is not a household annoyance but it is certainly what came to mind first when you offered an area to rant. We live in a world where most communication done these days is via email, texting, etc. and I just cannot believe myself how many people still think "a lot" is one word.
So here is my vent ---- please get it right people, A LOT is NOT ONE WORD!!!!!!
