The Best Manual Breast Pump

Hey Mamas!
I'm looking into a manual breast pump since I will only be pumping occasionally and not for a long time (2-3months at the most). What's the best one you've tried? Or is there a brand/model I should stay away from completely?

What can I do next?

Medela worked good... you could also look into renting a machine from the hospital if you are only looking to do it for a couple of months. This is my recommendation, manual pumping is time consuming where as with the maching you knock it out in 5 minutes and the cost is not to much. Good luck!

I have an avent manual pump and a madella electric... my avent is actually MORE efficient than the madella... (Although I do use the madella more just because I don't use the avent bottles... so when I use the avent I have to pour it into the bottles I do use... more dishes. lol) The only issue I had with my avent was that it came with a soft plastic "cup" that supposedly stimulates the nipple to help the flow, but I can't get suction when it's in... but it just pulls right off so no problem.

I loved my Avent one. It was great for occational pumping and not too expensive.

The Medela Harmony was great. I bought it for engorgement (the thought of the electric scared me with the pain I was in). It was only $35 and totally worth it.

I used the Avent manual pump with my first child and it was fine. With my second, I got the Medela Harmony. I actually like it a little better but both were good.

I loved the avent and Medella. Avent I think I like better. Can't remember why since it's been a couple months.
