Hi ladies, I wanted to help a friend out who is a SAHM and her husband just started a new job so they do not have money for thanksgiving dinner whatsoever. They have 4 children ages 11,9,4,2 and this poor children are not going to have a dinner to celebrate with their family. Is there anywhere in Frisco that would help donate meals or a grocery store that may donate a meal to this family. Please help as I am running out of time to make their thanksgiving. I am going to buy a few things to make the meal but anything else would be appreciated. Thanks!
You may see about angel food ministries...they have a website and you can find a church that participates......they have a Holiday meal.....
I heard on the news that various grocery stores (Kroger, Tom Thumb, Albertson's) around DFW are donating food to shelters and other family services that would otherwise be thrown out. God bless you for your kind heart.

If you are preparing the meal and footing the bill....Market Street has a deal going that is you spend $100 (qualifying dollars), you get a freee Traditions turkey up to 22lb.
I only use Butterball turkeys but when I was at Market Street the other day, I got a free turkey. Who knows..it might be a good one!!

I would like to help. I won't be in town that day but do you think maybe I can pitch in with some money and you could buy something already made? Or I could buy it wednesday and drop it off at your home? I don't want to make her feel bad, she does not have to know (in fact I prefer she doesn't know).
